Small but strong worker.
For a smaller sized unit, this thing does really well. I wouldnt buy it for a basement, it would not keep up- it wluld run forever! , but for a smallish main floor or bedroom, this would work great. Had multiple options moisture pull, can change the %, and two speed settings. Has a small side bucket and also a drain hose. One wheels, to easy to roll inside any space. I still havent figured out the difference from dehumidifier and dry, nor does the book tell. Its quiet for the most part, all you hear is the fan. I dont know if it has a full alarm, as I have yet to hear it. Display is easy to read and use, nothing confusing.

Dehumidifier
This dehumidifier has made a huge difference in my home. I noticed the air felt less damp within just a day or two, and it’s helped reduce that musty smell completely. It runs quietly enough that I can leave it on overnight without it bothering me. I also love how easy it is to set up and maintain. The tank is a good size, and the auto shut-off feature is really convenient. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone dealing with humidity issues.

Nice dehumidifier
I ordered this dehumidifier for my basement. I’m impressed by the neat look and quality of this machine. The setup is pretty easy, the machine has predefined humidity levels between 30 and 80. The fan is quiet. So far so good.

Excellent unit. This really pulls the water out of the air!
I have had other de-humidifiers in the past that were very slow to actually take water out of the air. I thought this was just larger and might be better. Boy, is it! It is a completely different type of unit. I read the manual and learned this unit had a refrigeration component and that was totally unexpected. With a little help online, I learned that my previous cheap dehumidifiers used something called the "Peltier effect" in order to take water from the air. This unit uses real refrigeration technology to succeed. I compared my old unit with this one and learned that this unit can take up to 34 pints out of the air in a day, while my old one strives to take 1.2 pints out daily. This unit is rated for up to 2500 ft, while my old one is rated for 323 sq feet. It puzzles me why they don't use cubic feet, but you get the point. This unit can take 26 times the amount of humidity out of the air. The unit has a built-in tank, but it really needs dumping at leadt daily in a high humidity area. So, the manufacturer has included a plug in the back so that you can place a hose (included!) Into the port and collect water in a larger container. You can set the desired humidity anywhere in the comfort range of 30% to 70%. I happened to have a temperature/humidity display a few feet away and its sensor agreed within 1% with this unit all day long, as the humidity started out around 67% and dropped to 35% during the day. It rolls around on small wheels and I set it on the counter to test. Despite the compressor starting and stopping, it did not move around on the counter. I let the onboard tank fill completely to make sure the automatic shutoff would occur. It did. I got an audible beep, then the compressor shut off and the control panel displayed a red tank symbol. I expect this will be excellent this winter in our destination trailer that is heated with LP gas...notorious for adding humidity inside the trailer. There is a little plastic tray atop the water container. I think its design is to prevent drip noises by catching the extracted water before it falls several inches into the bottom of the container. It was easier just to leave this out and let the water fall. The level/shutoff sensor is not affected.

Removes 10's of times as much water from the air as conventional non-compressor types. A+++
This is a very powerful dehumidifier. I have slightly smaller unit with a much larger tank to compare this to, and they are not comparable. This tank on THIS unit holds only about 1/2 gallon, but it fills to capacity in 6-1/2 to 7 hours reliably. The slightly smaller unit holds 1.25 gallons, but it takes about 28 days to fill it. So let's do some math. Lets compare 1.25 gal/28 days to .5gal/7 hrs --- 28 days = 28x24=672 hrs 672 hrs/7 hrs = 96 --- 96x.5= 48 gallons in 28 days --- 48/1.25 = 38.4 times as much humidity removed for the air in the same amount of time. There is simply NO COMPARISON! Clearly no one wants to have to empty this thing every 7 hours, so it does come with a drain system that easily hooks up to evacuate the system, but you will have to provide a drain through an existing port like a sink or tub, or will will need to run a separate line to exit the contents out of your home. The unit is very compact and runs very quietly even at the maximum load. It has a modern contemporary look that would appeal to most. The controls are very easy to understand and operate and the manual serves the unit well. Based on the personal need for such a device, when trying to compare to a non-compressor dehumidifier, THIS product beat that, hands down. ALWAYS GO WITH THE COMPRESSOR TYPE DEHUMIDIFIER! This particular one gets two thumbs up! Thank you for valuing my opinion.

Best dehumidifier I've ever owned!
The absolute best dehumidifier I've ever owned!! I now have two of these exact ones and they are beasts!! I had ordered another brand at the same time I ordered the first one and there was no comparison, this one waa far superior, so much that I sent the other back and ordered two more of these. My hubs has COPD and we live in Arkansas, so the humidity is insane, these little guys are going non stop 24/7. I have a 1600 sq ft home, but they are only in the living/kitchen/hallway area which is roughly 900 sq ft and i have to dump them at least 3 times a day. That's how much water they are pulling out of the air in my home. If I could have it ran directly to a drain it would help, but I'm but about to have drain hoses running every which way throughout my home, I already have his oxygen hose everywhere, lol. I did have one of these in one of my bathrooms for a few weeks bc we had mild in the shower drain that I could not get rid of. I put this little guy in there and hooked the drain hose up and let him go, in about a week we had no odor of mildew at all. So if you have a room that needs dried out, this is the answer. I really have zero cons to this machine and a hundred pros! If you are I the market fire a dehumidifier, look no further bc you just found the prefect work horse for your problem.
