  • The price vs quality is the perfect blend.
Bruh. For around a hundred bucks you can’t beat it. Only complaint is the pads are stiff and velocity is not as reactive as I’d like. Not the best for performing on pads. Outside of that it’s incredible. Arturia makes quality built stuff and the software and sounds that come with it cost more normally than the entire unit. Knobs feel great. Keys are as good as tiny keys can be. The knobs are excellent and the non rotary expression wheels are good enough. The mint color looks great I’m glad I went with it. ... show more

  • Excellent value and lots of fun!
The mint color is cool and looks great on my desk. But there's more, of course. I definitely recommending reading the guide to get started, just to save yourself some aggravation, but I had no trouble getting it hooked up with my computer, communicating via MIDI with my DAW, and playing it. It comes with some great software that make it an even better deal, especially at this price! I do agree with the somewhat-common criticism that the pads aren't very responsive, but I'm not really using them so I don't consider this a big negative. It's just the right size for my workspace... any bigger and it wouldn't fit on my desk with all the other stuff I have there, any smaller and it would be uncomfortable to use. I couldn't be happier with it! ... show more

  • Average just controller. Great plug-in
The keyboard is fine. Nothing special. Kinda cheap feeling like most budget moat controllers but does the job. I can only get the transport to work with Ableton by holding the shift key and pushing the corresponding T-shirt button. Kind of makes it useless if you have to use both hands to start and stop recording with the keyboard. Easier to mouse click. Well worth $108 though and I dig the mint green color. The software that it comes with is pretty awesome. If you've never used VLabs plugins, check em out for sure. It's actually worth paying to upgrade to the full suite. This is the second one of these I've bought. Can't go wrong for just a little over a bill for 25 keys and 20 knobs/sliders/pads. I also really like the modulation and pitch bend strips rather than wheels. Very sensitive and accurate. ... show more

  • Get it if you want a cheap but great MIDI.
This is certainly an upgrade to the MK2 I used to have, I feel like the build on this one is cheaper but this comes with great functionality, more knobs, more programable stuff, more integration with other DAWS and the key sensibility is also key, very happy with this midi and also looks very good, pretty. ... show more

  • Amazing product
Easily one of the Best Buy’s for my studio. All of the features and the free sounds and VSTs in the Arturia library are unmatched at this price, do not get anything else.

  • Good midi keys. Not so good software
Love everything about the midi controller itself. Stay away from the included Arturia software you are given when you register. It takes up a ridiculous amount of space for only providing a handful of usable presets and seems to always have latency issues making the whole software experience unbearable. ... show more

  • Perfect for a beginner
Perfect for my teenage son. He used in the classroom and wanted one for home as well. Works well with Mac and was easy to set up.

Works very well with Arturo’s V Collection software package
