I much prefer Ni-Mh for AA batteries. They are much cheaper, safer, and more reliable than lithium I have never encountered any issues using Ni-Mh in any device though its nominal voltage is 1.2v instead of 1.5V. People attach too much importance to no-load voltage. (Note 3600mWh is equivalent to 2400mAh when you divide the number by 1.5.) But if you must buy lithium, these Artman batteries appear to be a winner. Everything checks out to be good. Full charge measured 1.52V. More importantly, voltage measured very stable. Yes, you'll notice the extra brightness in your flashlight. Run time was in line with other 2Ah class rechargeables (lithium & Ni-Mh). When it ran out of juice, it was bone dry, but would charge up again. It beat out another brand of lithium in a side-by-side comparison. In the photo, the left side is Artman, the right is other brand, showing flashlight brightness after several hours. Artman was brighter from the get-go. I had control in my test by swapping flashlights to eliminate any chance that difference was due to flashlights themselves. I took off 1 star because of the charger (and the somewhat elevated price). I wish the charger is higher power, and the terminal contacts have longer and stronger reach.

I can't attest to the longevity of these batteries yet—only time will tell—but so far, so good. I got these specifically for my small Christmas tree on my desk, which is battery-operated and takes three AA batteries. No more digging around in a junk drawer for your rechargeable AA batteries next time the remote dies! This handy battery charger/case is small enough to store just about anywhere and conveniently holds 8 AA batteries. When it's time to charge them, just connect a USB-C cable to the case and get charging status from the 8 individual indicators -- see which are charged and which are charging! Charging is fast, as well -- all 8 batteries were fully charged in just under 3 hours. I also get a little chuckle every time I look at the case, because who decided the company logo should be in Comic Sans?

The charger container isn't really much to write home about - I mostly just wanted the batteries. However, the batteries wouldn't register at all on my universal charger. They would charge in the supplied charger, but as I said I was really only interested in the batteries.

When they arrived I charged all 8 in the charger with 0 issues. I like how the charger charges each battery individually and has a separate status light for each charging spot. I was having issues with a HotWheels track that the kids got for Christmas, the pushing motor thingy seemed weak and the cars wouldn't make it around the track using Ni-MH AA rechargeable batteries that have 1.2V output. I put these 1.5V batteries in and the cars fly around the track. I'm considering purchasing more just in case.
