Bad battery right out of the box. Edit: Their customer support reached out and made it right with a very prompt replacement, 5 stars for their support. I tested the battery against a brand new alkaline AA with my electronic load at 100mA and found that it lasted just as long and had about the same capacity but more energy due to the greater area under the discharge curve. I data logged and graphed both sessions in Excel, and you can see how the A. Artman AA had a much more linear terminal voltage across the entire discharge session. The image showing 3wH is the lithium battery. In summary, I'm very happy with the product and I would both recommend it and purchase again.

I think these are really wonderful batteries they charged super fast and I'm using them and my blink cameras currently and I have had no problems. I just put them in last week and they're still holding the charge and we have high usage on our camera batteries. And I'm going to order extra batteries to charge so that I can rotate them out I think it was a good buy.

For starters, you must use the special charger that comes with these batteries and it is a very slow charger. I put in all 8 batteries and it took half the day to charge them, and this was with brand new batteries, and not fully discharged batteries. This was also done on a USB charger that had a 45W capacity, so this was not the fault of the USB charger. I measured the power draw as they were charging and the maximum power drawn was only .68A at 5V so that equals 3.4 Watts total, and that 3.4 watts of charging power is distributed between 1-8 batteries. This makes for a very long charge time for these batteries, and you can't fast charge them using a better charger because they are proprietary batteries that require a proprietary charger. As if all of that wasn't bad enough, they claim that these batteries can be used in radios, and that's what I got them for. Well, that was a false claim because these batteries have a voltage converter built into them, and that puts off RF interference which wreaks havoc on radio reception. FM wasn't affected as badly, but the entire AM band was wiped completely out and I couldn't even tune 1 channel on the entire AM band, and I tried it at night which is best for AM. I suspected that this might be the case when I ordered them, but I thought they might have put filters on them to overcome this limitation of the technology, but this was not the case, they simply misstated the truth of the matter in the ad. The only advantage I can find in these batteries is that they do have a voltage regulator in them so you get a constant 1.5 volts until they are ready to be recharged, which some very few devices pretty much require. I measured the voltage on these and they measured from 1.49V to 1.51V, so the voltage regulators are fairly accurate on these. These batteries should work well in flashlights, cameras or any device that requires the full 1.5V that a normal, non-rechargeable alkaline battery would produce, but they are not the battery type you would want in a radio, or any radio-like device, for sure.

Updated review, Someone other than the person I emailed at artman batteries contacted me after seeing my first review. Everything was taken care of in just 3 days. I only requested 2 batteries to be replaced that arrived completely dead and would not take a charge. They sent me a complete set of 8 batteries PLUS a new charger. Went out of their way to make things right. Would continue to do business with them in the future now.Thanks Artman. Updated to 5 stars!!!

Tried 2 of these. The first had a bad battery that showed red light when in the charger. Returned for a replacement. The replacement would not charge the batteries at all. Tried charging for several hours over two days and lights kept flashing but never indicated the batteries were charged. Returned and will not try a third time.
