There are lights on the lid that flash when charging and solid when fully charged. There is one light per battery, so you know what each individual battery is doing. Happy with my purchase, these worked right out the box. My remote was low on battery and wouldnt work until i changed to these batteries. I like the simplicity of this, easy to use and easy to charge when needed in it's own compartment. No more rushing to the store at random times, i can charge these for a few hours and have so many batteries available for use. It comes with everything you need, even a charging cable.
