This works great and you don't need to assemble. The kids broke our stain so we removed the old one and we were just using a drain net to catch but then they couldn't take baths if they wanted. We could have done just the plastic thing that goes over it but it wasn't keeping the seal. Must not be very level. But this fits in and it seals around the drain, we haven't noticed any leaking, just push button to release or if you need you can just take the whole thing out. Very easy, seals well. Good size, suction, seal, and removal. I am very pleased with it ... show more

This item works as intended. It fits seamlessly and looks holds water perfectly. My little one can pull it out which is annoying, I could probably find a way to permanently secure it to the drain but I'm not brave enough. If used only for shower it would look original to the tub.

Great product - completely sealed the drain and installs in about 1 minute. Came with 3 sizes of gaskets which were easy to install on the stopper to determine which one worked best for my tub drain. Don't hesitate - much better than my previous drain plug.
