You can see threw this unless you double it. So we wanted this to wrap around a couple trees to block our nosey neighbors from seeing us. We were able to wrap it around twice so that worked bc now you can’t see threw it but if you just use it straight like a fence, it is see able

I used this around my deck once I installed the railing. It serves as a privacy screen and it's an amazing wind block. The material is very much like the shade tarps I have between the roof of the deck and the house. I recommend.

    • Sometimes a fence isn't enough...
Fences are great at keeping the peace, but sometimes they are just not enough. Ordered this to attach to the chain link fence to our side neighbors who have questionable taste in yard decorations and because we have a dog that just barks and barks and barks when ever someone is outside. I was hoping this would solve both problems. It worked wonders in hiding the neighbors 'decor', but didn't stop our misbehaving dog. Not a fault of the product, just an issue with our dog. It is heavy-duty, but isn't as much as a blackout screen as the picture in the ad shows, but by no means transparent. I would describe it as more of a diffuser. It is also breathable, so the air can get through it and you don't have the screen flapping against the fence in wind. Has built-in grommets and comes with zip ties. ... show more

The first thing you notice when you get this screen is its weight. It's heavy. I know that it's 300 sqft but it was still heavy. Good sign. Oddly enough, this was not acquired for privacy fencing, though it almost became that. It was intended as a sun shade over a pergola. That idea got nixed, but it did finally find use as a sun shade. It is perfect for this task too. The weight was truly indicative of the build quality. This screen is tough and I didn't worry about tearing it, even with uneven weight distribution as I was putting it up. I would guess this will last for a long time. ANd the grommets are nicely spaced so it won't sag. The dense fabric is a really good sun block and that also makes for a great privacy screen. This will keep the nosy neighbors guessing. At under $50 that makes for about $1 per linear foot. A typical back yard might require four or five sheets, but it beats building a wood fence or using the plastic strips in chain link fencing. A winner. Only one complaint, and I know it's petty. It would be really nice if this came rolled instead of folded. Much easier to put up. But since it is shipped, that's not likely to happen. ... show more

I like how large this is! It's pretty durable, I like that it has the rust free grommets along the hem for long lasting easy attachment. I also like that the air can move through it to make it less of a sail for in the wind. The color is not as dark brown as the pictures in the listing show (see my photos for quick reference), but the overall color is pleasant. Of course, you can use this attached to a fence to increase privacy, but it could also be attached to stanchions to cover or block areas at events. I got this to reduce fence fighting between my socialized dog in training and my neighbor's dog-aggressive ones. I would have preferred the black color, but the only option available at the time was brown, which I'm personally not fond of. The color is also a lot lighter than what is shown in the pictures. It took me about an hour to install by myself, with the only issue being unfolding the product to straighten and tighten it properly. This isn't a fault - just worth pointing out that you may want a second person to help create the proper tension. Extra zip ties are included, which is a bonus! The opacity seems pretty standard; while you can see through the material, it offers much more privacy than my chainlink fence does. Coincidentally, since installation, the neighbor dogs haven't been out at the same time as us. I was also hoping to test the durability of the screen against a wind storm we were supposed to get, but it never happened. If I notice anything significant regarding those two test opportunities, I will update. ... show more
