only this rug will not break the bank. It is well made, heavy and the colors are vibrant yet, subtle enough not to be over the top. It picks up the art nouveau colors from art objects within the house while adding a bit of a casual Bohemian eclectic touch. The square rug shape is just perfect paired with a round dining table and cameo back dining chairs. It adds another layer of Dimension while keeping all the colors cohesive throughout the house. I like this rug much more than a hand tied knotted wool rug I bought and this rug cost less than the pad for the other rug!!! Very, very happy with result. I bought this rug in orange and also bought the runner. They are beautiful and colorful without being too over the top. The PERFECT pop of color I needed in my life! Please excuse the cat tunnel in the pic, but that is just life in my house. The rug has a beautiful blue border which is a mix between navy and royal and is so complimentary to my grey furniture and taupe walls. Just what we needed to liven things up a bit. The quality seems spot on and I have no complaints. It flattened out quickly and as you can see, I have a chubby kitty who is smitten with the softness. I've paid WAY more for rugs and haven't been nearly as happy as I am with these. I don't think you can go wrong with these if you're tired of everything being so neutral in life. I highly recommend them! The daily vacuuming hasn't hurt them a bit. I hope they last a very long time. With all of the colors in them, you can match anything to them. I'm more eclectic than matchy-matchy, and I'm beyond thrilled with them both! If you're on the fence, for the price, quality and appearance you can't go wrong. One happy chicky here!     • Color a little different than the picture

Kept coming back to this style rug while searching, and for an 8x10, I knew I'd be spending around 100-130 on a carpet. I use mine in my high-traffic living room. After having it about a month now it's taken a beating from my vacuum, foot traffic, and two littles. I bought it mainly for a little padding on my tile as baby #2 is pulling up on everything. It does it's job. It came a little warbled but I took one guys advice and steamed it on the back side and set my coffee table on the corners for 5 minutes at a time. That didn't totally fix it at first, but it lies completely flat now. The one annoying thing I didn't expect with these thicker poly fibers is that it would mat up so fast in the higher traffic areas (3rd picture). It's not as cheap as a berber rug but it seems to pill like one. Took a brush to it too fluff it up a little, but it's not going to go back to it's original softness. Overall I like it, I just won't be spending 120 on a large carpet again unless it's nicer or is going in an area that doesn't get as much foot traffic. You get what you pay for I guess. Update Nov 2021: Water. Water makes it warp. I had a pretty flat rug until I needed to spot clean a few areas and those areas warped as they dried like something else. I was able to get it to last flat again with an iron on the cotton setting by puffing it with steam and going over the backside with the iron... Then laying my coffee table on it overnight. But if I got a carpet that came all warped is return it, these rugs aren't worth the fuss, they're a cheaper material. These rugs are better for areas without high traffic. Those worn down areas on my carpet have no pile anymore, they're just beaten flat. ... show more

    • Nice Rug but You Get What You Pay For!

I loved the colors in this rug but it was trouble since we first unrolled it. It didn’t want to lay flat so I placed heavy items on it which worked except-there was a small buckle/bubble rise in it and it never flattened out. This was a small nuisance, no big deal. We had it on a thick rug pad and furniture on two sides which held it in place for a month. It began to stretch and shift, we moved it back and straightened it twice. Each time it stretched again and became an odd shape. This floor covering had a mind of it’s own. After 2 months I put carpet tape down hoping to hold it in place, held an exorcism, sprinkled holy water on it, but the wiggly walker continued to inch across the floor. When it assumed it’s final twisted rectangular-half-moon shape in month three, I was done. I rolled the Harry Potter shape shifting sucker up and dragged it’s pretty twisted colors to the street. It was only a matter of time before it marched down the hallway and strangled us while we slept. The best thing about this rug was it was easy to dispose of. I usually donate my used rugs but I didn’t want to pass on a rugginational curse to another household. The Garbage service charged me $5 to pick it up which was the best $$ I’ve spent in 2022! I buy a new rug for our family room twice a year. (Because I like to change things up). I have NEVER had a rug do this before. Somewhere, in a landfill, that rug is wiggling it’s way towards it’s next unsuspecting victim. Pickers beware! ... show more

I ordered an 8x10 rug and right out of the wrapping, I loved it. The colors are bright and gorgeous. The rug was folded in such a way on the cardboard tube it came with that there was a large wrinkle right down the middle of the rug. I could tug on either end of the rug and it would relax slightly, but it never fully released. I even treated it with ice cubes, placed heavy items over the wrinkles, re-rolled it the opposite way, etc. Over time, additional wrinkles formed in high traffic areas, such as by my vanity table. The wrinkles make the rug look sloppy so I’ve finally decided to remove it. On a positive note, the print has held up remarkably over 2 years. ... show more
