We looked at several of these on Amazon. We chose this one for a few reasons: 1. The bag keeps everything together (we have limited storage and things get misplaced a lot) 2. The cord is long allowing us to use it pretty much anywhere. Plus is winds up under the unit which is nice. 3. It's small and easy to move around/carry. Being smaller means you have to empty it more often but that doesn't bother us. It takes us half the time to shave/groom the dogs with this unit. The suction is great, the razor is sharp and works well. The noise level is good. The dogs didn't seem to mind any more than they always do when being shaved. I think they will enjoy the brushing tool. We used it after shaving and it filled up several times with leftover hair. It paid for itself after one use. We are pretty happy with it! You can see by my photo how bad they were getting. We let it grow in the winter for warmth, but it was time for their Spring haircut. What a difference! ... show more

I love this!! I should have bought this sooner! I only used the razor and suction because my dog does not shed. I have a 65lb golden doodle with thick hair and it powered though and cut her hair very well. The only disadvantage was the size of the container that the hair goes into, it's fairly small so I had to dump it several times while grooming my dog, but honestly it was not that big of a deal. Suction was strong, it picked up 99% of the hair. The noise level was good- my dog got used to it quickly, and she's afraid of everything so that says a lot for the product. The razor was the best I've used so far and had a lot of options for adjusting the length of the cut. I searched for years for the right grooming kit, I am so glad I found this one!! I hope thing lasts but I'll say it works great. Shaved a pome and brushed out a GSD. Worked amazing for both things. Pomeranian didn't care for the noise and the GSD loves it.

This excellent for rabbits and shaving their fur off. Dogs are still kind of scared by it and so are the cats but overall works like a charm highly recommend.

This makes grooming my pets way easier and efficient. It’s not perfect and doesn’t pick up all the hair but it absolutely picks up most of it and makes clean up so much easier. I have 3 dogs with a lot of hair and I have to empty out the container when I groom them but it’s not a problem. I don’t procrastinate grooming my dogs thanks to this awesome vacuum and I don’t make such a big mess with the hair flying everywhere ... show more

If you have pets get this...stat. I brush and vac my cats a few times a week. They tolerate it well. Multi tools for different uses. Removes pet hair from anything using the soft bristle brush. No filter to dust or wash. Hair is trapped in the canister and emptied.

    • Made all the difference... wish I had bought one sooner
After dealing with tons of dog hair and constant brushing, this made my life so easy. I have a mini Australian Shephard and she sheds year round. She was a little nervous at first but after getting a treat she realized it was just a brush. I went slow, had it on the lowest setting, and praised her a lot. Treats were given and she decided it was okay. Now after using it a couple of times she just sits there and lets me brush her hair away. The only downside is the bowl to catch the hair needs to be emptied 3-4 times... she does have a lot of hair. I just keep a small plastic bag beside me and empty it into there.
