For the price point, this is a great laser engraver. I was surprised with the level of detail. The compatible app is MKS laser. I had a little difficulty setting up the app initially and had to email the company for after sales support. They replied to emails and were able to make things right. I am not a huge fan of the app, there doesn’t seem to be as much control as with the other programs; I would recommend trying to work with the app before buying the laser with this feature.

This T1-P Laser Engraver is a very basic, beginner style laser for anyone wanting to jump into the world of lasers. 3W is EXTREMELY slow and can only do so much when it comes to laser engraving so just be aware & keep your expectations realistic. Artilume has kept the price affordable on these lasers which is incredible because you can do a lot of various materials at a fraction of the cost of the more large, well known lasers on the market today! Comes very well packaged, extra padding which I always feel is a bonus in case you want to send to someone as a gift....presentation says a lot. Comes in an easy to carry portable case so if you are a crafter, DIY'er this is easy to take on the go, foldable & portable option unlike so many on the market today. Easy to put together, comes with well thought out, simple to follow instruction pamphlet. Risers included allow for extra height to burn those higher items you may want to engrave. Does not include an essential part of laser engraving which is a base plate or honeycomb burn plate for your surface so you will need to purchase one of them (they do have these available from their store). This model has App capabilities which allows you to to sync up designs you create. Software is not very user friendly compared to Lightburn & other laser Window based software. Definitely not beginner friendly, and not by go when wanting to burn designs, but does allow you the capabilities of being able to use & watch, control from your phone which wasn't previously an option with this model. This is perfect for small projects like leather tags, bookmarks, small coasters, ornaments, etc. Included safety goggles are a must since it's an open laser format. I have been looking to upgrade to a much faster & larger laser for quite a few months now which I will eventually do, but for now running a few lasers for my crafting items for embellishments has been working out but eats up a lot of time. At the price of $129.00 (at time of posting this, 05/03/26) I feel this is a good & fair value given the overall quality for this laser. If you are just starting out, you don't have to shell out a lot of money to jump in to see if this hobby is for you. At this price point it allows the average consumer to be able to test drive lasers first before doing the deep dive. Highly recommend to anyone!! They also include a few testing materials in the package for you to try out.

This is definitely a very basic engraver, which makes it a decent starter option for someone who just wants to learn the process without spending a ton. Setup wasn’t too difficult, but the app is very clearly Chinese‑based and it feels that way while using it — the interface isn’t the most intuitive, and you can tell it wasn’t designed with beginners in mind. Power‑wise, it’s not as strong as you’d expect from the listing. It did engrave on some test wood, but it’s definitely on the lighter side, so expectations should match that. Mine also didn’t come with any protective eyewear, which honestly should be standard for anything involving a laser. That’s something you’ll absolutely need to buy separately. For the price, I also expected it to include some kind of bottom protection or base layer to keep my table safe. There’s nothing included, so you’ll need to put something under it before you start engraving. Overall, it works, but it’s very much a beginner‑level machine simple, lightweight, and missing a few things that really should’ve been in the box.

Had this set up in less than 5mins. Does everything it says it will do. Love the compact foldable design, makes it easy to take with you. Only thing is I wish the case had a place to put the power cord, USB cable and laser module so it can all be together.

Perfect entry level laser. It will cut thin items like wood, plastic and paper. It was super easy to set up and use. Learning the software was probably the hardest part. I love the fact that it has its own case to carry it around in. I wish the carry case had room for the laser itself but i just reattach it after i close it up. it seems fairly durable and should last a long time with good maintenance. So far I'm very happy with it for the money.
