I like these little laser engravers, foldable and will handle light work, they are kinda slow but otherwise great little lasers for lighting work and marking on light materials, unfortunately I wanted this for cutting out leather sheath patterns and it’s really slow and performance is spotty on materials, some leathers it’ll cut fine, others it seems like it just burns the surface rather then cut, that’s mostly on suede or softer leathers, so it’s a little frustrating, and it’s really not designed for speed, but it does work on the lighter material and I use veg tanned leather which seems to work with fairly well, so it will cut the sheath patterns out that I need as long as they aren’t too large for the platform Overall it works good and does what I need it to do although it’s painfully slow, but again it’s does the work and it’s still faster and more accurate then trying to do it by hand so it’s a good little laser that does what’s needed

This is not a bad laser engraver, but it does have several drawbacks that are worth considering. The biggest issue for me is that there is no way to connect an air assist. That is a significant limitation if you plan to do much cutting or want better control over smoke and debris. The work area is also fairly small at about 8 x 6 inches. That may be fine for smaller projects, but it limits what you can engrave without having to reposition the material. The built-in software is another weak point. In my opinion, it isn't very good and I found it much less useful than some of the other software options available. Fortunately, the machine does work well with LightBurn, which is a major plus for me. The fact that it is mostly pre-assembled and can be folded for storage is also convenient. Overall, this is a workable laser engraver, especially if you plan to use LightBurn, but the lack of air-assist capability and small work area are significant drawbacks. I think it is better suited to someone doing smaller engraving projects rather than someone looking for a more capable machine for larger or more demanding work.

The foldable design is one of my favorite things about this engraver. It takes up very little space when stored and is easy to move around, which is great if you don't have room for a permanently dedicated laser workstation. It also arrives mostly assembled and calibrated, so getting started is pretty straightforward. The Wi-Fi app control is a nice upgrade and makes quick engraving projects much more convenient. I can send images and adjust settings from my phone, while still having the option to use LightBurn on my computer when I need more control. Engraving detail is impressive for such a compact machine, and the 8 x 6-inch work area is plenty for smaller signs, tags, ornaments, and personalized gifts. Overall, it's a capable and beginner-friendly engraver that combines portability with enough flexibility for more advanced projects.

I ordered this to have a compact laser engraver that I could easily move around the workshop without dedicating a permanent space to it. The foldable design is one of its biggest advantages. It stores easily when not in use and is quick to set up whenever I'm ready to engrave. The engraving area is generous for a machine of this size and has been plenty for projects like coasters, ornaments, leather patches, small signs, and other hobby items. I've tested it on wood, leather, painted metal business cards, and dark acrylic with good results. As with any diode laser, material selection matters, but for engraving common hobby materials it performs very well. I like that it can be controlled through the companion app, making it easy to import simple designs and start projects without always sitting in front of a computer. For more advanced work, it also works well with standard laser software, giving you additional flexibility as your projects become more complex. Assembly was straightforward, and the frame feels surprisingly rigid considering how portable it is. Once properly focused, the laser produces crisp engravings with good detail. Like any laser engraver, you'll get the best results by taking a little time to dial in the power and speed settings for each material. Overall, this is an excellent entry-level to intermediate laser engraver that balances portability, ease of use, and engraving quality. If you're looking for a machine that doesn't take up much space but is still capable of producing detailed engravings on a variety of materials, this one is a solid choice.
