    • Seems like this would be one of the best boreoscopes you can buy for well under $200
for $150 you get two cameras fiber optics and an articulating camera , It comes with a 32Gb removable SDcard Pretty decent quality photos and videos you have to be at the proper distance and angle to get a clear pic or video which can be challenging in tight areas but with a little practice it can be done.It has a permanent rechargeable battery I was concerned but i called customer support which is in America and they said if the battery ever goes bad they can replace it for $20 Im not sure about $20 bucks but customer support was fantastic. ... show more

Articulating Borescope with Dual Lens Endoscope Camera, Teslong Two-Way Articulated Industrial Inspection Camera with LED Light, Flexible Mechanic Fiber Optic Snake Scope Cam for Wall Automotive-5FT so far so good. i have a few borescope of varying greatness. but this one is by far my current favorite. i would trade it for a second if i could afford a 4 axis scope but until that happens this one is my favorite. i have another 2 axis articulator but you have to hook it to your phone which is a cumbersome chore. this has a nice screen integrated not just tacked on, it is smallish but very uisable. a sensible set of options. i wish there a wide zoom out view. as is there appear to be like 3 zooms and they are all pretty macro. would like a wider field of view for context of the situation, then dial it in to the detailed bits. i recently purchased an fancy acoustic bass guitar on the cheap because it had issues. there is a dip on the soundboard. without surgery there isnt a good way to find out what is going on on the back side of the soundboard. BUT WAIT there is. stuck the ol'teslong in the sound hole and started probing around. its a little ackward and getting everything where you need it to be is a little frustrating. thankfully the flex neck has some good regiidity to it which aids in maneuvering into positions. there are only 2 adjusments for orientation there should be 4. as is you have to spin the the flex tubeing to reorient horizon. the 2 axis works great. the temperature indicator i think false reads because it is heated up by the led. nonetheless, this gadget helped me discover i have a broken brace. i didnt even have to take the strings off or get metaphysical with a rudimenmtary mirror contraption. super useful gadget for precisely this kind of work. ... show more

I use this all the time. Any time there is a spot I can't see or don't want to bend town to look for I grab this thing. It works wonders for inspecting vehicles, plumbing and HVAC. Buy it. You won't regret it!

This scope is really good for the price I ended up getting it for 119.99 because I got 30% off coupon. So I almost returned it because it didn't seem to articulate 180° and I want to to look at valves in engines. After watching a few videos I realized that how far it articulates depends on how you have the cord laid out keeping it straight as possible gives you the most articulation possible. I have used several fixed (non-articulating) borescopes and find them to be one of the most useful tools in my toolkit. The limitation, of course, is you have to be able to get them into position and they sometimes are tricky or impossible to get into where you need to go. When I saw this articulating borescope, I was intrigued because being able to turn from side to side and adjust the view would be a game-changer for some of the trickier applications. I was excited to receive and test the Teslong articulating borescope. I had an application in mind that it was perfect for. I was impressed right away when I opened it up and found the surprisingly nice carrying case. It is a semi-hard zippered case with a nice insert that perfectly holds the borescope control body and the 5ft long scope around the outside. Testing it out for the first time, it was incredible. The scope end articulates mechanically with the up and down joystick on the controller, but it is so smooth, it looks like it is alive. It's almost creepy the way it moves! I immediately started playing with it continued to be impressed. The picture quality is fantastic and it is very easy to maneuver and to articulate to get the picture you want. The picture can be flipped and zoomed easily too and it all works extremely well. I was also amazed by the side camera which you can switch to at any time. This ensures you really can see anywhere you need to and get just the view you require for any task. I can also say from my use of other borescopes, I very rarely use more than a couple feet of the scope. Usually I need to see something inside a part of the car I don't want to disassemble, or inside of an appliance. If you were going in a long pipe or piece of conduit, this may be a limitation, but this 5ft length will work for me for 90% of my applications. The added functionality of articulating makes it much better suited to most of my applications too, so I can see myself getting a lot of use out of this. If I only keep one borescope between this and a longer non-articulating scope, I would choose this one easily. I was also pleasantly surprised that this came with a 32GB card which is plenty to take pictures and videos to reference later including with sound!). The light can be adjusted to a few different brightness levels, and the screen outputs the temperature. Everything about this is very impressive and the value you get is fantastic. Overall I am sure I will be using this tool a lot and I am extremely happy with how well it works. I believe a borescope is a must-have tool, but if you're willing to invest in an all-in-one unit like this with the added features of articulating, that is an ideal choice that will be worth it after just a few uses.     • good picture quality, easy to use - works well for mechanic or electrical work
This is a good quality borescope. It is 1080p with dual cameras. The front camera has 8 lights and side camera has 1 light. It has a short distance of focus which is normal for borescopes. At 5 feet in length, this is best for mechanical work, or I use mine for electrical. The head is articulating and is listed as 180 degrees of articulation capable. To achieve 180 degrees, you need to have the cable as straight as possible which can be a little tricky getting it articulated to where you need, but for my use of seeing into walls and looking for wires it works great. The scope comes with a 32gb micro SD which is nice. Overall, this is a good borescope for electrical or mechanical work. ... show more
