I thoroughly read the reviews prior to purchase, so I expected a much flimsier product. This rug went in a carpeted room. I imagine if it were in an uncarpeted room, it might feel thinner. Perhaps a rug pad would be a good investment if you’re purchasing the rug for an uncarpeted room. I can’t speak to its slipperiness. The off-gassing smells were not a problem for me. I just put an air freshener in the room and made sure the door was open for a few days after putting the rug down. As one would expect, the edges did curl a bit when first rolled out. I just put a heavy vase on one offending corner overnight and saw no issues after that. The colors pictured are quite accurate, in my opinion. This is a calming abstract pattern. I joked with my spouse that it looks like something for a dentist’s waiting room, but it is just perfect for the space for which I needed it. I think I’ll enjoy this rug for many years. It’s not in a high-traffic area of my home, so I predict it will be around as long as I am. : ) ... show more

Looks terrific! Carpet better than more expensive ones! Have 2 small pups, expected not to last. To my surprise, after cleaning with resolve was like brand new. While wet it shrinks but after drying back to normal! Will buy again!

I was ready to send this back after opening. So many wrinkles and bubbles made it look horrible at first. Flipped it over, placed a towel and used a steam iron on the back and the majority of wrinkles came out. It took about an hour. Not what I wanted to do. The colors are the great. I have a chaise and ottoman that sit on one side so it doesn’t slide around. If you’re not going to have furniture over it you should get some type of rug pad for underneath. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This rug is just the colors i needed for my living room. It is kind of thin but i just put another rug and a pad under it. I dont like the rugs so thick that when stepping onto them a person might trip. It did have a smell for the first day. But it got aired out in a day. ... show more

This rug has a very strong pesticide smell. I have had it outside on my covered patio for almost a week and have used a full bottle of Fabreeze fabric deodorizer and it still smells. I might have to return it but since I have 30 days I’ll let it air out a little longer since it is a perfect color for my room. ... show more
