  • Best purchase in a while!
I LOVE this keyboard. I was worried it would feel cheap and flimsy, but it's actually very sturdy while being lightweight and functional. Truly makes my Surface feel like a laptop, and when it's closed, it perfectly protects the screen! Also love that it's magnetically adjustable, so you can have the keyboard flat or at an angle. You won't regret buying this. ... show more

  • Good product, great price.
I've been using this keyboard with my Microsoft tablet for about 4 months. It holds a charge long enough I only have to charge it every 2-3 days, depending on how heavily I use it. When I had a connection issue (due to Microsoftupdate), customer service was able to help me get it working right again even over Christmas vacation. ... show more

  • Keyboard worked fine. Computer from another seller was delivered with a dead battery!
The keyboard worked fine and was easy to install. Unfortunately, the computer sold by another seller, was delivered with a dead battery that would not charge. I had to return the keyboard because the other seller would provide a refund, but not a replacement. This meant that the keyboard would not be useful. The other seller should be worried about its quality control. Who would send out a computer with a dead battery? ... show more

  • Buy this Product
This keyboard setup is a game changer believe me. I received my Go 2 and the keyboard was way too small. I purchased this one looking for a better alternative, and it did not disappoint me at all. Good product for a great price. Highly Recommend this to anyone with lager hands for any of the Surface Go's ... show more

  • great product
The Arteck Microsoft Surface Go Type Cover has truly exceeded my expectations! Immediately out of the box, the build quality was evident, matching the premium feel I'd hope for with a Surface accessory. Pairing it via Bluetooth was a breeze, and the connection has remained consistently stable, ensuring a smooth typing experience. Its ultra-slim design not only makes it extremely portable but also adds a touch of elegance to my Surface Go setup. The keys have a tactile and responsive feel, which has notably increased my typing speed and accuracy. The battery life has been impressive, requiring infrequent charges even with heavy daily use. This keyboard has genuinely transformed my Surface Go into a versatile machine for both work and play. An essential accessory for any Surface Go owner, I wholeheartedly give it five stars! ... show more

  • You get what you pay for.
Unfortunately I didn’t buy the insurance. The keyboard is worthless, it will not hold a charge. Its green while charging and as soon as the keyboard is unplugged it turns red and the keyboard won’t turn on.

  • Perfect for basic use
I needed a tablet to use with Microsoft Office - mostly Word and Excel and access to the internet. It’s a portable little mini-computer. I’m not doing graphic design, but working with documents and spreadsheets. It is perfect for my needs. I was concerned that I would need a Pro, but this is more than sufficient and I didn’t have to spend the extra money. I bought the pen and the keyboard, which is even more useful. I love being able to edit Word documents with more obvious writing with the pen - it makes redlines way easier to manage. The Go integrates much more seamlessly for work than an iPad. I love the iPad’s intuitive processes, but Apple just doesn’t play well with others, especially when it comes to Excel. This fits all of my needs at a much better price point. ... show more

  • Snaps on just like the OEM, but connects via Bluetooth instead of POGO dots
First class as a protective screen cover (which is one of the important functions of the actual Microsoft Type Cover). First class magnetic snap-on mounting to my Surface Go’s bottom edge, even includes plastic mounting prongs to fit the matching notches on the Go. First class secondary magnetic connection - lifting the rear of the keyboard up to snap onto the screen itself, just like the official Microsoft Type Cover. (In other words, to slightly raise and tilt the keyboard - personally I prefer the keyboard flat so there is no chance of flex.) MOST IMPORTANT: it still works when detached, unlike Microsoft’s own version. This makes up for the occasional Bluetooth lag and occasional need to re-pair. Since it works when physically detached, I can raise the Go onto a phone book or something similar for better screen height, while keeping the keyboard down on the hotel desk level with my arms. Extra bonus: in a pinch I HAVE used this with my iPad and phone (which requires re-pairing of course, including deleting from my Go then re-pairing again). Since it can’t remember multiple devices, you dummy want to do this often, but it can be really handy sometimes. NEGATIVES: the physical keys are good, but the Bluetooth is TERRIBLE. Sometimes fine, sometimes laggy, sleeps too early, requires random re-pairing, can’t tell when it’s off. Come on, I don’t have these problems with Logitech, Microsoft, and Apple Bluetooth keyboards. Hopefully since I got mine in 2019, they might have made internal changes. SECOND: the trackpad is subpar, sluggish, mainly because it is not Microsoft Precision compatible and doesn't come, alternatively, with a custom driver (like Synaptics etc.). It is sluggish and bare bones but does at least work automatically with no additional downloads. It WILL get the job done, and even sluggish is better than my iPad using my finger on the touch screen. So basically fine on the road but I use the actual Type Cover at home. ... show more
