The BlenderBottle Pro Series Shaker Bottles are built off the tried-and-true design of the iconic BlenderBottle Classic, with the addition of pro-grade features that make it easy to maintain proper nutrition and hydration on-the- go. Manufactured from BPA and phthalate-free Eastman Tritan, a durable and odor-free plastic that guards against lingering flavors, it keeps today’s smoothie from tasting like last week’s protein shake. Bottle contents and liquids are securely contained by a tightly threaded screw-on lid that creates a leakproof seal, and an ergonomic flip cap that snaps securely shut for shaking and transportation (fits in most cupholders). A SpoutGuard makes it possible to open the flip top without touching the drinking spout. The patented mixing system—with a 316 surgical-grade stainless steel BlenderBall wire whisk that moves inside the bottle to smooth out mixes—makes it ideal for protein shakes, smoothies, fiber drinks, and meal replacements. This bottle is perfect for my needs. It's the perfect size to make a solid protein shake - I like to add creatine, glutamine, and fiber powders to my protein shakes and I can add enough water in this bottle that it creates a smooth solution that is pleasant to drink. As long as you close the lid until you hear the snap, there is no leakage. The plastic feels very thick and quite durable - I imagine I will have this bottle for a long time. I do find that it works best when I put the shaker ball in first, fill it up with water (or whatever liquid you're mixing with) and then adding in all the powders on top. Close it up, give it a good shake, and it does the job! The rounded bottle makes cleaning very easy - powders don't have any sharp corners to stick to. ... show more

    • Better than my last ones
Previously I used a set of shaker bottles from a different brand with screw-on tops and a solid blender ball, but they started to leak after several years. I like these BlenderBottle ones better, though they're not completely perfect. I was worried that the press-down top would not stay on with strenuous shaking, but after using this for a while, I've become very confident that it will never accidentally come off once closed. My old screw-on top would sometimes leak if screwed on in an off-kilter way, and that'll never happen with this press-down top, which is great. I think that I like the light wire-whisk style shaker ball better than a solid ball, since its lighter weight makes shaking much easier, and it mixes things just as well as a heavier solid ball. Things can get caught in the whisk more than with a solid ball, but that's unavoidable and not usually a big problem. I don't like that it's so difficult to close or open the top. In order to close it, you have to put the bottle on a table and press down on the top really hard, sometimes to the point where I feel like I'm going to break it (though I probably won't). It's also very difficult to open it one-handed. I suppose this is good if you're throwing the bottle into a gym bag or something, but I'd personally prefer that I didn't have to be standing at a table with both hands free in order to open or close the lid. I'd also prefer measurement lines at 8 and 16 ounces. And while I like this size bottle for many applications, I wish that they made a smaller-sized version with a capacity of around 12oz. When I first purchased some of these bottles, one of them had the gasket in the lid not quite on right, and so it leaked a bit at the lid-bottle boundary (not at the push-down top). Sticking something in there to properly seat the gasket fixed this. ... show more

I’ve been using this BlenderBottle Pro for my protein shakes and pre-workout, and overall it does its job really well. The 28-ounce size is ideal—large enough for thicker shakes without overflowing, but still comfortable to carry around. The wire whisk ball mixes powder smoothly and does a great job preventing clumps. That said, it’s not perfect. The plastic, while durable, can start to hold onto smells if you don’t wash it right away, especially after protein shakes. Also, the measurement markings are a bit hard to see in certain lighting, which can be mildly annoying when you’re trying to be precise. On the plus side, the lid seals tightly and doesn’t leak, even when tossed in a gym bag, and the flip cap is easy to open with one hand. It’s also pretty easy to clean overall. Despite the small downsides, it’s a reliable, well-made shaker bottle that I’d still recommend for anyone who regularly mixes protein or pre-workout. ... show more

When i got it I was a bit hesitant considering that some of the reviews mentioned that it wasn't as leaked resistant as mentioned, but when I got it, it was perfect, its easy to clean, easy to shake something up, and it doesn't spill a single drop, at first the cap is a little hard to put on but after the first time it clicks into place and its perfect. 10/10 stars I'll definitely be sticking with it for a long long time ... show more

Wow well what can I say about this shaker it’s extremely durable. So unfortunately I was on my way to work on my motorcycle and some driver in a car cut in front of me causing a major accident for me. My motorcycle was totaled and I was sent to the hospital on an ambulance. Most of everything in my back pack was ejected as well during the crash including my shaker with my protein drink for the night. My shaker was on the pavement I thought it would have broken during the impact nope it was all intact and survived a hard crash all that happened to it was a slight rash to lid opener that’s it. It survived and my drink well in tact. Highly recommend this shaker super durable and holds a good amount in it. Will be buying more. ... show more
