if you're looking then BUY IT! very beginner friendly. i've been doing my nails for more than 5 years but i'm getting to a point where i want to start on other people so i need practice. i was deciding between this and a silicone hand but im new to hands so i went with this and i am HAPPY i got this one instead. Looking at the picture reviews i was worried the nail beds were too wide but they're really not. and people are having trouble maneuvering the fingers but mine move very smoothly. I will say, get better nail clippers because the ones that come with it break after a couple uses. Overall very satisfied with this purchase! Good luck on your nail journey!! 🫶🏽 update: when prepping my nail beds, i made them slightly narrower nd shorter to give it a more realistic look :) update #2: IN LOVE 😻 i did my first two sets on it and it was amazing. the hand began moving a lot more but still manageable. when filling and applying acrylic, i removed the rubber tips and put them back on for a cleaner look 🫶🏽

I recently picked up learning how to manicure and was told to buy a silicone hand because the fingers would fall off of the plastic hands quickly. I did that and spent a lot of money, but the replacement tips got too expensive so I decided to buy one of the plastic hands and give it a try. I actually prefer the plastic hand because of the way the fingers bend (like a human vs being stiff) and the replacement tips are way cheaper. My experience with this has been good. My only negative is the tips themselves sometimes fall out when hand filing so I have to hold the base of the tip down. I’d still give the hand 5 stars compared to the silicone hand because of the bendability and cost to replace tips.

This holds right in place grips really nice to the table. I have no issues with its stability. Had no issues with it. Breaking or falling apart. Definitely recommend.

I really wanted to like this practice hand, but unfortunately, it’s been frustrating to use. The nail tips pop off way too easily, especially when I’m filing or shaping the nails. It makes it very difficult to actually practice acrylic application and filing properly. Another issue is that the fingers are hard to detach when I need to place them under my UV/LED lamp to cure gel products. I feel like I spend more time trying to keep the nails attached or removing the fingers than actually practicing. For someone learning nails, I would recommend looking for a practice hand that holds the nail tips more securely and has fingers that are easier to remove for curing. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t purchase this particular model again.

It’s good for practice, but the hand loosens and falls off every use, the fingers are constantly coming off, and it can just be very annoying overall. If they had made a more sturdy product than it could have been 5 stars, but having to take the hand apart constantly to screw it back on is super annoying (also a waste of time)
