I have a gap between my living room carpet and my kitchen tile. There are old nails there that people keep stepping on and getting socks caught and it's been driving me nuts. So finally I found this, which is a super simple solution. Basically I got the roll, unrolled it to let it straighten out, and the next day I cut it, peeled off the paper, and stuck it over the gap. Voila. It's perfect!!! It was so easy. It sticks just fine to the carpet. If it was purely carpet I don't know, but it works really well on this gap and sticks to the tile.
