I love this rug. It’s so soft and the colors and the beige is perfect color for my house. It is thin not squishy but it’s soft. You can’t vacuum it but it’s so easy to take outside and shake, then throw in the wash machine. Spills clean up well. I have 2 dogs and cat and I wish I had gotten this before my other 2 expensive hard to clean rugs! I bought a 3x5 for my back door as well. Just wish they made a 1 size smaller ... show more

I have pets and hardwood floors. Replaced a thicker shag rug with this and there are clearly trade offs for being able to machine wash this at home. This is not a “comfy get down on the floor and play” kind of rug, however, the shag was a pain to keep clean. If you’re looking for a machine washable, decent looking, lightweight rug - this is it. Pros: soft, looks good, decent price, really is machine washable in a regular washing machine with agitator, roomba vacuums it well. I absolutely love this rug! It is SO soft and fits the natural/neutral aesthetic I wanted. I am so pleased. Only thing I have noticed is that it is difficult to vacuum because the material is on the thinner side - this is easily fixable by putting a non slip may under it. I will not be adding anything as it does not bother me- I step on a corner as I vacuum. I love it!! ... show more

This is my fifth Art&Tuft Rug. It feels great on your bare feet, and is super easy to clean(my roomba does a great job picking up loose dog hair). I really loved the price of getting something this size (9x12) for my bedroom. The low pile is great for not getting picked by dog nails, and then therefore snagged by vacuum and ruined. I would say the only downfall of these rugs are that you can't use a regular upright vacuum on them as they are so lightweight that the vacuum just sucks them up, but the beauty and non slip makes up for it though. I have 2 dogs that do "zoomies" regularly on them and no major problems so far. ... show more

It was pretty, but you can only sweep it and not vacuum. I ended up replacing it with a sturdy wool rug that I can vacuum. Wasted the money, but lesson learned.

I’ve had this rug in a very high traffic area for a few months now, and it is still incredibly soft on your feet. It is very thin, but plush and soft. I haven’t washed yet, although it probably needs it because I live in a very wet, rainy climate, and it’s in my entryway where people walk in with dirty shoes all the time. However, I’m actually shocked at how easily it vacuums, and seems to avoid dirt (it still looks clean despite all this and the light color)! You can add a rug pad underneath, I just don’t have clearance with my doors. I really like this rug but I think it is only really good on hardwood (it doesn’t have the structure to be on carpet in my opinion). ... show more

This is a nice quality rug and very soft underfoot. It is very thin and I can't use my regular Dyson Animal vacuum on it because the rug is too light weight. The Roomba works fine on it though. I haven't tried washing it yet so I can't comment on that. For how thin it is I haven't had any problems with it flipping up.
