    • Overall very sturdy but even with being extremely careful, it leaks.

Pros: Very sturdy and even though I didn't get it on any discount, it was relatively inexpensive. Cons: For all the roof panels to line up, the support beams had to be pretty much perfect. Unfortunately, the welded supports along the base were not equidistant when assembled. That meant that at times, it was impossible to line up all the predrilled holes. While assembly was still possible, the lack of quality control was very disappointing. Also, the number of panels making up the roof was a bit surprising but understandable given the needed design to ship and be affordable. Not sure how long it will all last as there was rust on edges of the roof panels out of the box. As careful as I was, when fully assembled, it had leaks. I'm assuming at least partially due to the support beams not lining up correctly due to the welds and/or inconsistent pipe bends. I'll never know as it is up and I'm not about to take it down. I toyed with giving it a three due to the welds not being exact and the rust on the edges of the roof panels but the end product is very sturdy and looks good so I settled on a 4. With higher quality control, it would definitely be a 5. I also bought the side enclosure for it and am very happy I did. ... show more

Very Difficult to Assemble, lots of drilling, holes that do not line up. you will need a helper, tape measure, two tall ladders, a power drill with 5/16 nut driver for the 366 self tapping screws, 7/16 wrench for tie downs cable clamps, sledge hammer to drive ground anchors in, pry bar or screw driver to help align panels and parts and basic construction skills. I cannot see the average person putting this together as I am retired builder and found it very difficult to erect especially with the Picture Instructions. It is delivered Truck Freight and not to your door so you will need a truck or trailer to pick it up with and all the boxes are very heavy so you will need a helper too as truck driver will not help unload. Once assembled it will do what I need it for but it was a huge hassle and headache to assemble. ... show more

So the web page states this is 7ft wide. The outside of the box(es) that arrived state 12ft and 12.8ft wide. Open all three boxes, zero instructions for installation. I really enjoy this car canopy! It took me and my 70 year old father around 5 hours to put everything together during a rain storm. I decided to buy the Arrow Enclosure Kit as well and it's almost like a garage now. Like a previous owner said, having everything level and square is a MUST. So far so good! Set up wasn’t terrible, (other than getting the anchors in, we had to use a piece of rebar because the rod that’s included folded like a snake and got stuck in the anchor holes) but the real test will be the 30-50mph winds we get often, so I’ll update the review after that! Looks nice. No comment on leaks because we set it up for an extra livestock shelter for shade. ... show more

This is very well made. My only warning - make sure your first panels are square, otherwise it throws everything else off. If you are anchoring to concrete, there are 10 possible anchor point on both side. The railings are strong and sturdy. If this thing blows over - you have more to worry about than your car port! ... show more
