I have been having the time of my life beating this thing to death lol. Very fast, very stable, EXTREMELY DURABLE. I mean ok, if you run it hard like I do, you are going to break things and shred tires. In 3 months of using/abusing this thing 5 hrs+ a week, I have broken a front A-Arm, a rear shock tower, and 2 front bumper mounts. That was using it outside on ice/snow/pavement and jumping it 20 or more feet through the air. A LOT of bad landings! I cringe while watching most of my landings, but this thing takes them and keeps going 9 times out of 10! Pretty amazing really. The body is trashed, but gorilla tape works wonders. The tires will come off the rims with hard akward hits, but gorilla glue fixes those up nice too! Parts are pretty cheap and easy to find here on Amazon or good old E-#ay. It is pretty easy to work on and it is designed very well. I have been running many types of RC cars for years, this is hands down my favorite. Well worth the money. If your thinking about it, stop. Just buy it. Get yourself a couple of decent lipos and a good charger, some gorilla tape and gorilla glue, then go bash and have a great time!!!

I have never done review's but for this item I felt I had to. This is my first RC truck, after watching many youtube videos of people beating the Senton S3 4X4 way more than I ever would, I decided to try it. I have a large back yard so I was able to run it at 100% on the grass and had a blast. No jumps or any other crazy stuff just strait fast fun and some turns around tree's and this thing is very impressive. Not like the toys I knew in my childhood. For the cost, the durability and the power offered in this truck, I will not need to upgrade as it checked all the boxes just for an old retired guy to have something to do that is fun. I recommend getting the dust cover as even on grass the chassis will fill up with dirt and grass so best to just have the cover. Tried it on the street but I could tell that even on 50%, the tires would be worn down quick. I got 2 LiPo Batteries off amazon with the EC5 connection's and they worked great out of the box. Thank you ARRMA for making such a good RC.

I am new to RC, having just bought the MJX HyperGo brushless about a week ago. I owned plenty growing up but nothing nitro / hobby level before. I have been extremely impressed with that car as a true starter, budget level RC that is 3s ready/brushless at around $90 on sale at 1/16 scale. This review is about the Senton though. A short-track Rally style car. I've run 2, 5200 mah 3s batteries a day through it for 3 days now. Total of 6 battery runs and I'm in love with this car. I only have 2 manufacturers to compare at time of writing with a noticeable price difference but the quality of the Arrma from first look at the electronics and mechanical components you can tell they are using quality parts. I am considering upgrading certain parts if/when they break. I am not gonna knock a plastic / composite part over metal though as the flex could save lots of damage on an impact. I could be wrong but the price may keep this out of the true entry level range. As a 1/10 scale this car, it's big and feels amazing to drive. Care needs to be taken on turns and at high speeds. I haven't clocked it but it seems like it is easily hitting 45+mph on street and tries to go airborne with the body on (yes the road and power of this car eats the factory tires, not recommended). It is equally fast in the grass and dirt/gravel but I installed a much needed guard / net over the chassis / components. After running for 5 minutes it would be so clogged with debris I was worried about over-heating / fire risk. I also had the problem of the perfect sized pebble jamming the steering servo every run pre net install. The remote throttle control is perfect for beginners and I don't have to fear handing this off to someone at 50% throttle control. Don't get me wrong it is still fast but it takes that edge off of it for sure. At 100% throttle it pulls wheelies consistently in grass and just tears. Stones you definitely need to be careful where the rear of the car is pointed as it will launch some nice sized rocks considerable speed. The most fun with this car has been on dirt and I can't wait to actually take it to a course. Reading the manual helps a ton and should be done while waiting for batteries etc. Especially if this is a first hobby car. Personal experience - If you have an issue with a rapid flash when turning it on, there is a good chance one of the settings on the hand controller is out of sync, like the throttle knob on the back of the controller that lets you set a constant throttle to the car. I had this turned up somehow after powering the controller and car both off / in between charges without realizing it. I am eagerly awaiting a Vendetta and Granite bought on the xmas in July sale. Having seen where modern day electric RC is for hobby level is amazing. I can't wait to try a few more cars and other devices from some other companies as well but it seems like Arrma is hitting it out of the park. Pictures of any mods and further follow up will be provided as time goes on.

This is my second Senton 4x4. I live in a Arizona 55+ community. Our development has a very nice RC Short Course Truck facility with clay/dirt Oval and Road Course tracks. Twice a week 40-60 racers race short course 2wd and 4wd on 2S batteries. I was the first person to show up with an Arrma Senton 4x4 to race. Out of the box the Senton was immediately competitive with the highly upgraded other brands. The other trucks require low center of gravity chassis and about every stock chassis part replaced with RPM after market parts (and new tires) just to run competitively. The local hobby store does a bang up business after every race day replacing broken parts. The Senton on the other hand doesn't break very often. I am still racing my 1st truck after 1 year and have only broken a front A arm. My second truck is a back-up to the first which I haven't needed yet. The speed in straights and 4x4 traction on curves is amazing. The Senton is built like a tank but is very nimble to race. Service from Horizon Hobby has been great. I bought my 2nd truck from Amazon in July of 2022 but didn't open it up till I was in Arizona in October. To my surprise the truck had been used and abused, but I missed my return window to return it to Amazon. I reached out to Arrma (Horizon Hobby) and explained the problem. In a couple of weeks I had a new truck at my door. Good customer service.
