I love these satin pillowcases; I keep buying them for myself, my husband, and for gifts. I know it says you are supposed to line dry them, but to be honest, I don't. I wash and dry them turned inside out so that they don't abrade against other things in the wash and wear out faster. I was concerned at first that in the summer it would be too hot for me, but so far over the years it hasn't been an issue. (I first ordered a pair of these in July of 2018) I was also worried that since polyester isn't really absorbent like cotton that it would let excess oil from my face stay there and maybe make my acne worse but that hasn't been an issue at all either. They do the job of reducing the amount of hair breakage overnight spectacularly. As for longevity- I bought lavender ones in October of 2019 just because I loved the color and switched to using the second one earlier this year (2022) not because the first one was worn totally out exactly, but it did get a few snagged threads. For reference, I wash all my bedding once a week with warm-hot water, free and clear detergent, and oxi-clean. Tumble dry normal heat and the free and clear dryer sheets, too. I know that's not optimal treatment of the fabric but it holds up for a long-ass time anyway. My most recent purchase I decided to get my husband some nice red ones because his beard is meaner to the satin than my face. ;D

This pillow case is awesome, game changer! I feel much more comfortable when going to bed w/o a bonnet or hair scarf on and for all my curly or 4C hair people if you know then you know. This pillow is great it’s very easy to wash and mantua nice had it for a few months now and I plan to order another two for the bed, the color has yet to fade, it’s soft. Packaging was great it didn’t come with any odd smells. Do yourself a favor and put it that order, very inexpensive and worth the try!

I can't live without this product because I don't like to wash my hair every day. When I sleep on this pillowcase, I don't get bed head. It's amazing. I do keep my regular pillowcase on the pillow and put the satin one over it. Otherwise, the satin one slips off my pillow easier.

I was trying to match my beige/cream colored sheets as closely as possible, so I ordered the beige color. I was concerned that these might end up being one of those puckey beige colors when they arrived. However, I needn't have worried. They are a lovely elegant looking color of beige. They are comfortable and seem to be well made. My main reason for purchasing them was to see of they would help with the cowlicks on the back of my head, which get even much worse when I sleep on my pillow. However, they didn't do anything to help that regard. However, I am keeping them, since they are supposed to help with the condition of your hair. They do stay a little wrinkled after washing (which I did before I used), but I didn't bother ironing them ...so the picture I posted shows a slightly wrinkled pillow case. One thing to consider when ordering is that they run really big. I have queen size pillows and originally ordered the queen cases, 20x30. They were so big that the pillows would have kept moving around inside the pillow cases, even using the pocket in the cases. So, I immediately returned them and reordered the standard size cases, 20x26. These fit much better. They are just a tiny bit too short, but the pockets hold and hide the pillows nicely on the end, so you really can't tell they are too short. It is much better than having the pillow travel inside the case. I would purchase these again.

Not silk, these are satin which I knew before buying due to other reviews. Very smooth to the touch. Only complaint, I find these to be very hot, satin does not breathe so wake up with face stick to pillowcase. Complexion starting to suffer because of it. I went ahead and gave 4 stars because of how nice they feel but would not recommend to anyone with sensitive skin

I love mine! The only problem is our pillows will not stay on the same spot in bed and slip and slide around constantly. I love it for my face and hair though, so I usually pair it with a pillow that has a cotton pillow case so I can stack them and keep it in place

Omg these are a game changer and so soft! Living in Colorado it gets very dry and staticky especially now as the weather is getting colder. These have saved my hair! I no longer wake up with my hair stuck to one side, every morning nice soft hair to start the day. These have also really helped with my night sweats (which normally happen at the base of my neck) and haven’t woken up with wet hair since I started using these 2 weeks ago. Highly recommend! The only reason not giving 5 stars is they slide of my pillows easily but that’s not that serious.
