Really like the dishes. One of the pasta bowls had 2 visable defects and cracked in two right in a line between them. Broke in half in my hands about 10 seconds after pulling it from the box. Other than that the rest seem to be great so far.

These are GORGEOUS! They feel and look expensive and durable. Even my husband commented on the quality and asked how much we had to shell out on these bad boys; man was he pleasantly surprised! We don't own a dishwasher so I cannot attest to them being dishwasher safe but they have been microwaved and handwashed and they still look perfect almost 2 months later. Just buy them. I love these plates - they are heavy and beautiful. However, they have gotten so scratched up from utensils, that they will not last very long looking nice. I'm glad I didn't replace all of my dishes with these. My old dishes were purchased several years ago and are awful with all the scratch marks, which is why I purchased these, but only one set to see how they would do. I thought they would be more durable. I will continue my search for white/ivory dishes that don't scratch. ... show more
