I got the white color. Another review mentioned the speckles, so I knew to expect them. I think they look great, almost like they're hand made. I've only had them a few weeks, but they seem high quality, durable, and have done just fine through the dishwasher a few times.

Absolutely beautiful dishes. Bowls are all the same but the glaze on the plates are each unique. Ordered a 4 place set with coffee mugs, so I have a 4 mugs & 4 pasta bowls. All matched perfectly. They are heavy but my men love them, with the square design making a not overly girly table setting. I'm putting paper towels between them, as there were complaints of chipping & scratching, but I've had them for months & they are holding up well. ... show more

I bought this 16 piece Au'RORA' Skugga round double bowl set, as well as a three separate sets of a similar color to 'complete it'. This is a simple beauteous elegant color and style, I would recommend it to anyone as the price is very fair, and it seemed to be packaged well even though one plate had a slight chip on the edge of a plate. I purchased a 12 Piece set of Asian Ceramics from Harmony, consisting of 4 bowls, 4 soup spoons, and 4 sets of chopsticks. I also purchased a 4 piece plate set from Harmony, and finally a black set of 'Bruntmor 8" x 5" black Oval Porcelain Ceramic Deep Dish Pie Pan Set of 4'. Now I have three different bowl sizes, three different plates sizes, and 4 ceramic baking deep dish pans for cooking! AWESOME! ... show more

This is a really lovely dish set! It’s got a really nice creamy color with specs, and a matte finish which is my favorite part. I don’t know if the dishes scratch because I ended up returning due to finding a different set at Costco that was cheaper and I liked a bit better….
