Decent rug for the price. Go bigger than you think you need. The size is a bit underwhelming. I'm going to attempt to steam iron the wrinkles/creases. Hopefully that will work. Overall it's a good rug. Love the look.

The perfect size to fill some extra space in a bedroom. You can definitely tell it is not a real cow skin rug, but it is soft to the touch and looks pretty.

    • Very firm rug and not Machine Washable

This rug isn't that soft. It is super firm and folds very stiff like cardboard... so there's absolutely no way you could wash this in a washer machine. The label on the item itself says its not machine washable, so if the description says otherwise... its not correct... especially for their larger rugs. Far away or in pictures, the rug details look real. Up close, what you are getting is painted on strokes of hair onto a flat surface. There are no individual threads of fabric to mimic real cowhide hair. Basically its a one dimensional rug. My dogs didn't like laying on it. If you don't have a need for machine washable and you could care less this is nothing like a true imitation cowhide... then go for this as it was at a low price when I bought it. It might be usable in a kids room. I also purchased NativeSkins faux cowhide rug and I much prefer that rug over these. You had to pay more for it, but you pay for what you get for. ... show more
