My wife and I recently epoxied our garage floor ourselves, it was a ton of work but worth it! Even the best epoxies will start yellowing where the tires drive over time, leaving yellow tracks in the garage. To combat this, I bought this mat. The pictures were taken just minutes after pulling it from the box an laying it out. Several reviews state they had trouble with the corners not laying flat, using double sided tape, being too thin, ect. I didn't have any of these issues, nor do I think it is too thin for the purpose I purchased it for. As long as you don't try to adjust your steering wheel too much the mat will stay in place. I actually like that it is thin, it makes it easy to handle and lay out to your liking. The rubber backing is nice and seems to have a nice grip on the epoxy. Time will tell how this holds up over winters, but again what I'm really after is protecting the epoxy from direct tire contact. If it holds up I'll purchase another one for the other side of the garage. At that time I'll also update this review. UPDATE: After having the first one all summer, I purchased a second one for the other side of the garage. I thought it did a great job protecting the epoxy finish, as you can see I added a picture with the first mat I purchased pulled up, showing the bare floor. It is true you can power wash the mat out as advertised, I just did this earlier today and it cleaned up nicely. You can tell the difference from the mat I had over the summer as opposed to the one I just bought as the first one has faded a little, not a deal breaker though. The real test will be seeing how these hold up over the winter. I'll post another update in the spring when I clean them out. My recommendation still stands. SECOND UPDATE: I still like these mats very much. Although after two winters I had a hard time getting all the midwest salt out of them with my power washer since they do absorb a ton of water. Wear and tear and multiple washes seemed to wear out the mat and it certainly didn't look as nice as when it was new. Anyone dealing with heavy municipal salt in the winter is going to have to put more work into maintaining these mats. If you live in a climate that mostly sees rain you'll get far more life out of it. I still like them and I recently purchased a replacement. At the end of the day the mat takes the wear and tear and helps protect the epoxy which is ultimately what I wanted. ... show more

I bought 2 large mats. I've been cleaning out my unfinished ghetto looking garage, and these mats made a huge difference. My garage looks way better. But I did have to put quite a bit of work into setting them up. First I trimmed 16 inches off the length. It was easy to trim with box cutters a yardstick and measuring tape, and that edge looks great. I gave these mats 4 stars instead of 5 because there was a huge crease in both mats and smaller creases too. They wouldn't lay flat with the creases. I used a steamer, which worked great to get the creases out and they now lay flat. The tape provided is super sticky to bind the mats to the cement underneath. The only flaw in the appearance are little waves that I couldn't smooth out on one edge. However, overall I think it looks great and would definitely recommend this mat. However, you may need to put in some hours to make it look great. I included a picture that has 1 mat steamed and one mat unsteamed side by side. A picture of both steamed and finished. I recently took ownership of a vintage British roadster. I wanted to keep in my garage, which had previously been redone with new lighting, new interior paint, a HVAC system, and most notably a new floor, with epoxy coating. Now if you know about ~50 year old British cars, they tend to leak fluids with great regularity. I didn't want my spotless floor to get stains all over it. so this garage floor mat seemed to be just the ticket. The size of the mat is generous, it's more than wide enough to fit a typical car and probably most 1/2 ton or smaller trucks. It's more than long enough for my Triumph, and could easily accommodate a longer vehicle. The material isn't super thick, but it seems like it's enough to handle most oil leaks (I do use a piece of cardboard on top of the mat to hedge my bets). It comes folded/rolled up, I decided to unfold it and let it unfurl for a couple days before I put into place. It comes with double sided tape, but it ended up perfectly flat, so it wasn't needed. It's good product if you need a garage mat that can cover the footprint of an whole car. ... show more

I bought the mats because of the Armor reputation. I was not disappointed but pleasantly surprised. I bought two mats to almost completely cover the floor of a two car garage. A few wrinkles are beginning to ease out after two days - warm day helped. I reread the directions that recommend allowing two weeks for wrinkles to ease out of carpet. It looks nice over my newly redone garage floor and encouraged me to rearrange garage and toss or donate all items no longer needed. In today’s world where it is hard to give many products five stars this is one. An aside unrelated to Armor the two sided tape provided had gotten hot probably in hot transportation trucks. Looks nice, wont stay in place. Adhesive tape doesnot hold it. Tires have slipped backing in or leaving from just putting in gear or getting over the one inch rise as I enter the garage. rather have kept my cardboard because because all I wanted was to keep the floor dry and clean after rain with a easy clean up solution....speaking of clean up, a vacuum will not work. even on a high setting, the vacuum sucks to the floor to where I can not move it back and forth....going back to cardboard real soon. looks great, if you have a vehicle with oil leak, yes recommend it, not an easy solution for my intentions. ... show more

I got this garage mat after a full garage renovation including epoxy paint on the floor. For the price I think it could be a little thicker. Both the “felt” top and rubber backing are extremely thin. I am nonetheless rating the product five stars because of the ease of handling, and because it looks sharp and stays in place perfectly. The mat only took a few minutes to unfold/roll (it came in a long box, not like the packaging pictured) and position. Had a few wrinkles which I smoothed out and some light creases which disappeared over a week or two. The mat stays in place beautifully without tape or adhesive. The surface absorbs water (and drys) nicely, but if you live in snow country, as I do, I recommend brushing large amounts of snow off your vehicle before entering the garage as the capacity of the mat is limited and large amounts of snow will most likely cause runoff which will flow under the mat. Only question now is durability. If it’s still looking great in the Spring I plan to get one for the other side. ... show more

I purchased this product to cover the carpeting in my art room. It was perfect for what I wanted. Thin enough to go over the carpeting yet the rubber backing gave protection and the felt top gave it a nice feel. Also easy to vacuum. The few creases in the product straightened out once I laid it out. I did piece sections together as my room was square and the product was a rectangle. It is a far better solution than the drop clothes I formerly used. ... show more
