I recently went on a cruise and I purchased this for my trip (knowing I was going to a water park on one island and a beach on another). It's super important to keep time when visiting islands, because you don't want to miss final boarding. I knew keeping my phone somewhere that I couldn't constantly check would cause anxiety, so I bought a water resistant watch specifically for my own piece of mind. That being said, I loved it. I kept it on ship time and checked it constantly. My only point of frustration is that I setup an 8pm alarm one day (the time I needed to head back tot he ship) and have not found a way to turn off the alarm. Every night, at 8pm, the alarm goes off. I have been wearing this watch for about 5 months now. It is very waterproof (I never take it off, when showering or swimming, and it does just fine). The time is easy to read and it serves it's purpose well. I just purchased a "smartwatch" as well and am waiting on it to arrive. My plan is to continue to wear this watch when I'm not at work. It is made well and seem like it will last very long. My only complaint is that the timer feature can't be turned off, or at least I haven't figured out how to. When I first got the watch the timer would go off at midnight every night (that was not fun). I found out how to change the timer to a different time. It now goes off at 6pm each day. What can I say? I nice looking sports watch if that is your need. I like the chronometer, has a stop watch also and alarms (I only use the chronometer) it chimes ever hour if you want and isn't too terribly hard to set. Mostly for athletics. I like the white, it doesn't get dirty either. I had same version iwth the black wrist strap but that eventally tore so I ended up getting the white one.
