I usually wear a versa 2, but sometimes I get tired of it because it's a bit heavy on my wrist. I also have trouble seeing numbers on a watch without reading glasses, and I don't always have those on, so a lightweight watch with big numbers was what I was looking for. At first I was pleased with the watch. It's pretty comfortable, although the band is a little more stiff and less flexible than I'd like. I do have a small wrist and I was able to comfortably buckle it without it being too loose or tight. The watch was easy to set using the instructions provided in the box. Unfortunately, I had a problem seeing the numbers though - not because they aren't big enough (they are), but because they are too close together. I've attached a pic. Up close or with glasses, it's no big deal, but an un-bespectacled glance at my wrist just looks like 2 numbers (in the pic, I see a 0 and an 8...or 9). Yes, I can still deduce the time, but I found it increasingly annoying to squint at the numbers. I did decide to return it and just keep wearing my versa. Excellent CS from Amazon for the return though. I still gave it four stars because the things that bother me aren't necessarily universal. ... show more

Although I just received it today, I’m not liking it. If you look at the face from an angle instead of turning your wrist facing you, you can’t tell the time because different numbers and characters show. I will probably return this watch and buy the time-tested Timex. Another thing I don’t like is that this particular watch I received changes the seconds in 30 second intervals. For the 30 minutes I’ve worn it, it’s comfortable, but clearly it is broken due to the second hand. ... show more

I purchased this in hopes that the lovely teal color wouldn't become discolored into a drab olive green (the way my other watches of similar color turned into). The good news is that the beautiful color stayed the same. The bad news is it died with no notice after 5 months of gentle use (I take it off before I work out. I take it off before I shower). It was working in the morning just fine, and with no notice it just stopped working (unlike my last watch which stopped glowing in the dark, then the numbers grew dimmer, so I knew it was going to eventually stop working). If this watch had lasted 2-3 years it would definitely be a 5 star review!! Hoping your watch lasts longer than mine did! ... show more

The style is casual and understated and I like that the buttons are nearly hidden. The strap is flexible and comfortable with the classic clasp. It seems to be a well built watch, but it is little - the face isn't larger than a quarter. Be sure to read the dial measurements. Also, the display is hard to read if you aren't looking directly at it; if it is at a tilt, all the dial segments show obscuring the actual time display and can be hard to read. ... show more

I Love these Armitron Sport Watches and especially this color. I have them in several colors to match my bathing suits. I swim everyday when I'm home and they are great when I go to Maui for a month each year for snorkeling. I like the different colors to match whatever I'm wearing that day and don't have to worry about going in the water with them. The face dials are also easy to read. ... show more

I wore the Armitron Sport Women's 45/7012 Digital Chronograph Watch for almost three years and decided to replace it with this one in silver because the strap had become discolored with use. This watch is just like the one I had, making it extremely easy for me to use. I love the matte silver finish and that the face of the watch is fairly small. It looks much more expensive than it was.
