I couldn't be happier with this banquette seating. It's attractive, no detectable chemical off-gassing odor, and fits just perfectly in the corner of our dining room for our 6-8 person table. The look is a rather generic "transition style" - somewhere between contemporary and mid-century modern. While it's not a "statement piece", it is sturdy and un-offensive: a very good value all around. The gray vinyl is attractive. Upholstery is stapled underneath. I could find no flaws in the stitching or staples. Seating is comfy but rigid; just the right amount of cushion for a dining room banquette. While the bench and back are sturdy but not heavy, the legs are very heavy. The piece is stable (no wobbles) and I expect it to last for a long time. Order and delivery process were seamless. It arrived on time: 20 minutes before the scheduled delivery window. (Not 1-3 months as the listing states.) Also, it was packaged extremely well. (I mean, really well.) The whole thing arrived in one large box that contained six pieces: two sofa sections and four legs. Each item was wrapped separately in cushioned styrofoam wrap. Then, the entire box was lined with styrofoam. (Ironically, it took much longer to unwrap everything than it did to assemble it.) Assembly was very straightforward: attach the legs to the base using the hex screws (provided) and pre-drilled holes. The connecting hardware was already attached. I've included photos for your reference, including cats for scale! UPDATE 01/07/2018: So, we've been using this daily for just over a week and are still very pleased with the size and how solidly it's built. However, the top layer of the vinyl is pretty thin (which is not surprising given the price). Our cats scratched a bit in spots and you can see small spots where the lighter layer (under the gray) is showing through. However, the vinyl itself is holding up - they didn't puncture all the way through. ... show more

After this experience, my opinion of Amazon and Armen Living was one of gratitude. I thought I had a problem at first and both Customer service reps at both Amazon and the Armen living company were so kind and helpful in willing to help me sort it out as I honestly thought I'd be sent the wrong pieces. I was able to work it out myself and there was no error with anyone, but I was grateful that if there had have been, they were willing to fix it to my satisfaction. Really great process and the product itself is gorgeous! Pretty easy to assemble. Was able to pay it off month by month even while I was enjoying and using it. I have been searching for a booth seating for my compact dining room and although this isn’t what expects it ticked ALL my boxes. Originally was going to get white to match kitchen but decided that with small children black would be the safer bet. Well I love the black it has a nice matte finish is easy to wipe up and clean and looks so classy. Even though the box size was giant I was able to assemble everything by myself quite easily everything included took about 30 minutes or so from open box to sitting down to enjoy and is quite sturdy and secure. Needed something with clean lines to fit in my dining room. Always wanted a banquette bench table combo for my post and beam house. This fit the bill. Easy to put together. I added some bolter pillows for some additional lumbar support see pic. The table and bench in the picture are from Amazon as well. Price kept fluctuating by about $1,000. Finally got to order it at about $700. After knocking 5 rooms into 1 we were left with an awkward corner. This unit fit perfectly. Easy to assemble and looks great. The Armenian Amanda table, chairs and bench a little more than we wanted to spend on a kitchen nook so we bought an IKEA table (exact same size) and chairs. Only downside to that is that it’s not a pedestal table. The seat is comfortable given that is breakfast seating and it meets the minimalist style of our home. Very pleased ... show more

This is a pretty bench, however it didn't hold up well at all. The ends started peeling after only 2 years. Although I bought a warranty, this is considered normal wear and tear and they wouldn't replace or reimburse. Also the leather didn't remain tight on the cushion.
