Nice piece of gym equipment and a fantastic price. Definitely recommend for the non 1% elite weight lifters. Positives: - Exceptional price - Decent cage that works for most gym goers - Good number of accessory pieces - Includes safety bars and two sets of racks - Arrived in three boxes, with all pieces and parts - Easy to use cable attachments, which adjust very easily - Seems like I'll get a ton of usage out of this set up, and expect this piece of equipment to last a while Negatives: - Assembly instructions are ok (but not great). You have to pay attention carefully to the assembly, and there are steps that could benefit from amplification. For example, a previous review noted that a top piece had miss-drilled holes. That is incorrect, the purchaser just failed to assemble the top bar correctly. The instructions did not specify this potential issue, you just have to deduce how to assemble some pieces. - Certainly not for commercial gyms or elite-level weights. The 1500 lbs advertised capacity feels about right, although I would hesitate to push more than a 500 lbs loaded bar on the cage...but that's way beyond the weight of anything I'm racking. - Not a deal breaker, but I wish the from front cable pullies could get another 2-inches higher. I'm 6", and need to stand a bit further back from the cage to do triceps push-downs. - The cable pully system works good enough, and at this price point I can’t complain too much, but the cable pull isn’t the smoothest. Also not a deal breaker, and I wouldn't necessarily pay more for a better pull.

If you’re in the market for a home gym, get this cage! This thing is awesome. It is well made, sturdy, functions very well and if your limited on space this cage is compact without sacrificing functionality. I had a fitness gear half cage before I got this cage. And to my surprise it is exactly to the inch the same footprint and the highest point of the cage is exactly the same as my half rack. The cable system works great. It is smooth and quiet.. no annoying creaks or squeaks. Now, assembly may be a challenge for some. There are a lot of parts and pieces and the paper instructions are good and the assembly video is very helpful but if your not mechanically inclined I would suggest having some one who is help you out. Beyond that, this is, for the money a solid purchase and I couldn’t be happier. Seriously, I am getting much better workouts now in the same amount of space as before. And for the money you get everything you need to develope a solid strength training routine. I love it!

Really sturdy and versatile cable machine. At first all the parts and manual looked intimidating but in the end it's really easy to put together. The parts and screws were extremely nice labeled and separated for each step. The cage itself is really sturdy. We (husband and wife) both incorporate it into our workouts. It's prefect for each of our needs even so our workout style is different and at different levels, this meets the bill for both of us. Would definitely recommend!

1 Star. Major Assembly Issue, Buyers Beware. I was excited to set this up, but the installation came to a complete stop at step 9. Part B4 is manufactured incorrectly—the left side doesn’t have the required screw holes at all. Because of this, the top crossbar/pull-up bar cannot be attached, making the entire unit unusable. I double-checked the instructions and the other parts, and it’s definitely a defect. Extremely disappointing, and a huge waste of time. Buyers beware: if you get a bad B4 part like I did, you won’t be able to finish the assembly. Not worth the hassle.

Definitely excited when I ordered this for my new home gym. Its been close to 3 weeks since I've set it up and I've used it every other day. The instructions are great, however the tools provided leave a lot to be desired. Need a ratchet with 17mm socket to assemble and maybe another person for some parts. Design is good for basics. Range of motin is good for basics. Came with a lot of great attachments. Overall a great value!

So, this thing is sturdy, and is truly a buy for the money. It fits into the corner of the garage I needed it to go into in order for my wife’s car to still fit. Looks versatile enough for me to be able to do my entire weeks gym routine with it. I will say it says [fastest 1-hr assembly] and I’ll tell you if someone put this thing together in 1 hour I’ll kiss your ass. Took me and my dad, who construct multitudes of things, 4 hours. But, it’s done, and looks great. Would buy again.
