My Labradoodle took to this immediately! Got it way back on his back teeth and chewed and chewed! The opening in the bottom for treats is too small. I put tiny treats in and he finally just gave up. No way he could get them out. But that’s ok….I think it’s a great chew toy!

This product has been great for our pup. First and foremost, his breath doesn’t smell like a wet butt. That in itself is invaluable. However, the biggest bonus that makes this toy so much fun is the fact that the material is firm, yet just rubbery enough to bounce, and the shape of it means that when you toss it around, there’s really no telling which way it’s going to bounce around. We’ve spent hours just bouncing it around for our pup to chase after, and the sporadic bounce path keeps him guessing and hopping around trying to get a hold of it. Good for teething or even those older dogs that like to chew on something harder. I like this better than the bones. Not so hard on the teeth and helps keep them cleaner.

I love it, it's very durable, but my only complaint is that the treat hole is not very useful, because neither me or my dog could get them out. I had to pry them out with a stick. I read some people have cut the little flops/teeth at the rim of the treat hole and have had success. We were a little traumatized to risk that mental energy to try for now. Otherwise, it has resisted my 14 lb mini schnauzer with scissors for teeth. Some pieces have come off, but it's minimal, just be mindful of them as they get loose and bitten out with time, so they are properly discarded. It is very resistant to chewers. It might be a little too heavy for smaller dogs tho. My 14 lb schnauzer can carry and play with it no problem, but I think she gets tired of carrying it around sometimes for longer period of times. Otherwise she loves it. Bonus part is that it smells really good on its own, and very much so still after several ours of play time. If you have a powerful chewer small to mid size dog, it's a great toy. If your purpose was treat dispenser, I'd take another route. All and all, great value for your money. ... show more

As soon as I gave it to my dogs, they immediately started chewing on it. Usually one of my dogs is not very interested in chewing toys. For this one they were stealing it from each other. May e I should have gotten the bigger gorilla. This one is a bit small for my 20 lbs dog.

I have a 10 month old Shar pei puppy who loves to chew. She immediately went after this toy and loved it, but ate the feet off after 10 minutes. Not as strong as I anticipated, but she likes it for now!
