When I first bought the bag they sent me the larger one by mistake so I reordered the small again and seeing the two there is a definite quality difference between the two. The big bag comes with a corduroy strap that feels sturdier and looks prettier and it comes with a hard sheet that sits at the bottom so it has more structure. The small bag, although a more convenient size for my everyday needs, comes with a very simple woven strap and no hard bottom so it loses all structural integrity. Not sure why these cheaper changes were made for the smaller version but it definitely reduces likeability. However, I'm going to keep it cause for right now it suits what I need and it can fit my water bottle, and umbrella, my wallet, and a book. ... show more

    • Awesome corduroy bag. Not so great stitching

I’ve used this bag to carry a book or two, eyeglasses, a three-ring note binder, and misc items. Easy to put my purse in it, head into a store to pick it up a few times, and use the tote bag. It looks great with all attire (unless you are dressing up). The downside, the stitching for the outside pocket is halfway unthreaded. The strap is also halfway unthreaded. I don’t carry bulk items or “pack” this tote. It’s for easy essentials like a purse but holds a book or two and a water bottle. The threading/stitching should NOT be in deterioration mode this quickly and easily; I take excellent care of my purchases. I have had the same purse (the strap goes around the neck, and the purse is on the side hip) for 2.5 years. I’ve got caught on doorknobs, kitchen handles (strap position/loose fit), and possibly the purse has been run over - many events, airplane travels. I keep this purse on me at all times unless I am home, at work, or in a comfort zone where I can leave without worrying I’ll lose something/do not need immediate access for my inhaler or iPhone. This purse still looks brand new. Not any issues. Name brand too. Yet this green tote bag with a lot of potential falls apart when the breeze picks up. Bummer. ... show more

I love the bag, I even use it for school. It is big enough for a couple notebooks, a textbook, and a computer! The only dislike is the strap, it broke on me :(
