My teeth and gums were killing me from the brush and toothpaste ( I tried MANY!). Read online to stop using toothpaste with silica and calcium carbonate to reduce sensitivity- so I went to Arm and Hammer- baking soda toothpaste-- found this one with many helpful reviews- been using it ( and Nimbus extra soft compact head toothbrush) two days and able to chew without pain and sensitivity is gone! Thank you Arm and Hammer (and Nimbus!) and thank you helpful reviewers! * update- I love this toothpaste, but sadly I have found I cannot tolerate the taste-it lingers for hours and hours, for me and gave me heartburn burps. ... show more

This was the perfect toothpaste 🦷 -No hydrated silica (so it wasn’t hard on your teeth) -No sugar alcohols like sorbitol (S. mutans has been shown in some studies to produce acid from it…) -Fluoride (even if I had a DIY toothpaste with baking soda, I can’t add fluoride alone to it) But since it’s out of production, the last remaining about is being sold at a premium.
