I’ve always had issues with excessive tracking and disgusting dust all over everything. My box is in my craft room closet and although it’s scooped daily, I would constantly fight a film of dust and tracking litter underfoot. I used Kitty-Poo Club silica litter ( fine and regular) both with the same issue. Same issue with Fresh Step crystals and most of the regular clumping litter. Don’t even get me started on the soy litter from Kitty Poo Club, it stinks and my cat wouldn’t use it. The Cloud Control Platinum has been a wonderful product. It has a sand type quality that I thought would be a tracking issue, but it’s absolutely not. You will always have a tad of tracking, but it’s cut down by 90% for me. There is zero dust as well. I’ve just set up autoship on this product because I’ve finally found ( in my opinion) the best litter out there. I’m not overly fond of cats indoors, so this has been wonderful in dealing with my daughter’s cat. My set-up includes a subscription for the “ box only” from Kitty-Poo Club (you throw the box away every month), filled with this litter, placed inside the clear plastic litter box wall protector (cheap on Amazon and protects your walls). I also use the Litter Genie disposal…where has this been all my cat’s life? So if you’re not necessarily a cat person, but stuck with a beautiful but evil cat, give this set-up a try. We chose to try this kitty litter as our cats had recently started to show a distaste for the old litter. Our kitten randomly started peeing on the floor despite having multiple clean litter boxes that we clean every other day. The boxes are also different kinds, a variety of top entry and normal entry, one smaller box as well just for her. We figured she was likely peeing on the floor because the litter we were using previously was quite dusty so we searched for a new low dust litter, and settled on this one since it also has odor control. We have been using Arm and Hammer litter for the last two years and its clumping and odor control abilities are amazing. This specific litter clumps very well and makes cleaning the box much faster. The litter is very low dust if any and minimizes the smell even better than other Arm and Hammer litters since the litter doesn’t cloud and spread the smell when we clean it. Our cats have not peed on the floor once since we started using this litter. I will say that it is smaller pieces so it does create a bit of a mess outside the box but all kitty litters do that, so I don’t mind. Definitely recommend for sensitive cats or sensitive owners who don’t want to inhale a cloud of cat litter and want to keep the smell at bay!! (Also I highly recommend using Arm and Hammer baking soda when cleaning the box to keep litter smelling good for as long as possible. I like this litter. I used to get Dr. Elsey's, but they must have changed the formula and significantly increased the dust level. This weighs more than other brands. It has an interesting texture; sandier. It's less of the nasty stench cloud, but has some dust. I still wear my dust mask anyway. I began subscribing to the large size, as I had too much trouble lifting the 37 pound boxes at the pet food store. Upon delivery, the handles were always broken. That made it VERY difficult to lift and pour. My pet food store doesn't carry the smaller sizes. For that reason, I've decided to just get the 27.5 pound size delivered. The price per pound of litter is only 1.6 cents more. I can handle that. ... show more

We got a box of this clumping litter due to my husband choking on the clouds of dust coming off the old, non-clumping litter we had used for decades. Our litter boxes are in the basement in our new house and neither of us relished the chore of trudging up and down the stairs every time we had to clean the box because changing them out in the basement was too dusty for him to handle. It is a good value for the large box. I have never had dust from it and it is easy to keep the box clean. The scent is a tad bit strong for my cats so I'll be looking for a non scented option to "mix" into this. But as a firs time user of clumping litter has been a great option! ... show more

This is the ONLY litter I have found that does not leave odors. And I mean for long periods of time. I scoop every day, and sometimes depending on what size box I get, even after a month before washing and putting new litter in pan it still had no odors. Oh...and my cat loves it also...Will not buy any other brand! ... show more

I highly recommend this litter. I have 5 cats and 3 litter boxes (I know I'm supposed to have more boxes). I've tried almost every kind and brand of litter on the market, this is the best. It is worth the cost since I only have to change it every 3 weeks and even then it doesn't seem to need changing. Of course, I do have to add a little to it from time to time. It doesn't stick to the bottom of the litter box and does not have a bad odor. Poop and pee can easily be scooped out without smelling like a barnyard. ... show more
