Use a Oscillating Multi-Tool to cut a hole into the drywall. Know what is in the wall before you start cutting. I would also suggest to put this above the TV bracket. I installed this below the TV bracket and it almost shows if not for the soundbar covering box.

Mounted for new work in a 6 inch wall. Will service a wall mounted flat screen tv. Easy access to pull tv cables.

    • Too deep for my wall with 1/4 inch paneling.
If your wall has 1/2" sheet-rock this will work OK. It barely fit in our wall with 1/4" paneling, without a bit of surgery.
