I’ll use this as a trailer tongue box. Overall this is a nice box for the price point. It will work well for me because of the size and light weight Some of the other reviews about poor quality seem exaggerated. The latch is adjustable and works fine and the lid fits well as either of my UWS truck boxes. It’s definitely not a “strongbox” or a safe, but the lock seems as good as any truck tool box I’ve seen. It will keep honest people away from your tools. It came vary well packed with cardboard and steel corner protectors. It did get a small ding in handling, but the shipping box was gouged as well. Nothing I can’t live with. Since I’m mounting to a trailer, I won’t use the handles. They are pop-riveted and could use washers to back up the rivet. it has nice welds and finish and will work well only aluminum trailer. ... show more

Box works, be kind to it, it bends really easy, very thin sidewalls which makes the latch not work, easily fixable just pull/push in/out a bit and you’ll get it to shut! - Another star due to it has no seal in the lid which I’m planning on putting one in it, rain/water hasn’t been an issue, but dust is definitely an issue, for the money it will work fine, see what happens when winter comes! ... show more

Well built. Thickness of metal is just right. Strong enough yet the box is light enough to carry. Was easy to drill holes for mounting bolts on bottom. Like the gas struts to support the lid when opened. Locking mechanism is robust and keeps the lid secure. Have traveled down the road for over 1000 miles. Not one issue. I purchased 2 of these for my trailer to hold straps, within the first month both locks quit working you turn the key to lock it and the tumbler just keeps spinning and even if it’s “locked” you pull the handle and it pops right open, they’re very flimsy I can be driving down the road and hit a bump and the box just pops open, any part that isn’t painted black is rusting like a son of gun, if you’re putting these outside with anything other then stuffed animals in them I’d highly suggest another product because these do not last what so ever ... show more

No complaints yet. Seems well made. Arrived in a well packaged box with reinforced corners. I bought some weather stripping to make the box water and bug proof. I’m using it as outdoor storage under an off grid cabin for hunting gear. It’s lightweight and well made. The handles are impressive as is the mechanism for opening and closing.
