She was so bummed. I was going to get involved but she contacted the company's customer service directly and reported the problem. She has raved about them ever since then. The media could not be loaded. When received it had a tad drag on the sound like slow motion so after a couple of months it is only getting worse slowing down more on and off. I reached out to vendor and they promptly shipped out another one so we shall see how that one works once received. I do need to note that mine is orange but odd thing it's not painted it is orange stickers. When I received it the weather was warm and the stickers were sticky it's been a few months and they still feel sticky like cheap glue where the stickers meet. I thought that was so weird when I noticed that this is not orange paint but orange stickers layed over the player. ... show more

Haven’t had a record player since I was a kid. Really wanted to get something that was not too expensive and checked off my nostalgia boxes. This fit the bill. Only complaint I have are the speakers aren’t the greatest. The sound isn’t horrible and can fill a room, not the whole house though. I would also be afraid to turn it up too much for fear of killing the speaker. However, you take the legs off and you can carry this thing anywhere! It’s light, easy to move, easy to set up. It was up and running in less than 20 minutes! The more I use it, the more I feel it is exactly what I was looking for. The good: It looks nice… The bad: It’s cheap, it feels cheap the moment you open it up. It’s held together with tape… remove the tape and the needle bounces around the disk. The speed was off on my unit making my music sound like slow-mo nightmare scores, switch speed, and it’s stupid fast like the chipmunk version of everything. I swear this thing is unusable 90% of the time. It’ll scratch your disks and just annoy the heck out of you. The design is perfect. The sound is exactly how you might expect this to sound. I just purchased some decent speakers and the unit does have RCA jacks out. I have also had to weigh down the needle with a penny to keep it from skipping. The Bluetooth is very noisy with my phone. I don’t have the same issues listening through Bluetooth in my car so it may be the turntable. With this turntable, I value design over function so I am very happy. ... show more
