The TAB801 car or truck seat rail tablet mount can be used with all large tablets 7 to 18.4 inches in screen size, including Apple iPad Pro, iPad Air 2 and iPad Air, iPad 4, 3, and 2, Samsung Galaxy View, Galaxy Note 10.1, Galaxy Note Pro 12.2, Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 and 12.2, Galaxy Tab A 8.0, Galaxy Tab E 8.0, Galaxy Tab S 10.5, Google Pixel C, Microsoft Surface Pro, Nexus 10, and Nexus 9, LG G Pad 10.1, Sony Xperia Tablet Z4 and Tablet Z. This mount includes Arkon’s Slim-Grip Universal Tablet Holder and Heavy-Duty Aluminum Seat Rail Mounting Pedestal with 22” Adjustable Arm. The Slim-Grip tablet holder fits tablets 7 to 18.4 inches in screen size. The holder features a spring-loaded design that makes it easy to insert or remove the tablet by pushing down on the lower legs of the holder with one hand. Included with the holder are 10 support legs (4 short, 2 medium and 4 long versions). Choose the 4 legs that provide the best fit for your tablet. These insert at the top and bottom of the holder and can be easily adjusted in order to keep any side buttons and ports unobstructed. For most large tablets, the best mount holder configuration is to attach 2 short support legs on top and the 2 long support legs on the bottom of the holder. For smaller tablets, use all 4 short support legs on the holder. For larger tablets including iPad Pro, use all 4 long legs. For vertical viewing, adjust the 360-degree swivel. The aluminum car seat rail mount features three adjustment points and is ideal for those who prefer mounting their tablet somewhere other than the windshield or dash. Use a socket wrench to install the mount to the car’s seat rail. Bend the 22” adjustable arm for exact positioning of the tablet.

I had tried more 5 different tablet mounts before I bought this one. This one is very very stable even after I attached 10 inch tablet in this mount. My truck old diesel truck which vibrate while truck alot, but this one does not vibrate much so I can read monitor gauges really easily. All of the tablet mounts I tried had vibration, swinging, and unstable once I mounted my tablet. Those mounts were around $30-40. I know that this mount is like $90, but wow definitely worth a lot! I am 100% satisfied.. top of this, monting base and hinge are very solid not like cheap one so I do not worry about breakage in the future. I am highly recommend this product!!!!!! I bought this for my Toyota Tacoma TRD Off-Road. Over the past week I've had it installed and holding a 10" iPad. I went about 350 miles off road, and if you know anything about it - that is a TON of shake, rattle and roll. This mount never came loose once. The iPad does bounce slightly when you hit the rough stuff but that is to be expected on a long extension arm. The only other comparable product I've found is a RAM mount that costs $390 (compared to about $90 for this). Overall this is very well made of solid metal parts and pieces. The media could not be loaded. When I first bought this I had a Kenworth W900. I bolted the stand to an existing hole in the passenger seat frame under the seat cushion and adjusted the arms on the stand to where I wanted. The shaking was minimal. I moved to a Peterbilt 567 4 axle heavy haul truck. To install it I removed a mounting bolt from the seat to the floor. To get the bolt through the foot I had to file a very small amount off the inside of the foot then run the bolt through to the floor. In this truck it shakes A LOT as seen in the video. I had to run a short bungee cord from the stand to the right side of the seat frame so it was tight to get the shaking and vibration under control. I attribute the massive increase in shaking and vibration to the heavy suspension of the heavy haul set up. The stand holds my tablet in place . It has “L” shaped brackets that are spring loaded on the bottom. You just push down and the tablet will come out. I’ve taken my tablet out of the stand numerous times, at times several times a day, to show my OD permits at the scales. The springs tension holds up well. Even on the worse roads with loads well above 170,000 lbs gross my tablet stays in the stand. The stand was easy to put together and very easy to adjust. Excellent product and perfect for my truck. If your mounting an iPad it becomes top heavy so make sure you secure seat bolt very tight and also make sure all arm connections are super tight. A lot of weight at the top of the arms
