I replaced a 25 year old leaky 15 gallon electric water heater in my park model trailer with this 12 gallon unit. My issue was that it was in a very tight space in a bathroom cabinet. This heater was a perfect fit, and completely outperforms the old one. I have the temperature turned up all the way, and it provides plenty of hot water for a shower. I could not be more pleased with the performance, value, and ease of installation. Quick recovery, easy to set temperature, and it seems to be well built.

I purchased and Installed this 20 gallon electric hot water as they advertised for POU for Point of use hot water. Currently the price of Natural Gas just increased from 60 cents to 90 cents per CCF. But, my electric bill is price locked for 3/4 cent for the next 6 months and then increases to .80 cents. Currently Electricity cost less than natural gas. So I installed this and followed all the specs. Output from my NG Hot water heater to this POU HW Heater. The literature states that the heater needs about a 4 hour recovery time. I am actually watching a 2 hour recovery time. The water is set at 135 degrees and was delivering almost scalding hot water. For a shower you need about 15 gallons of hot water and the tank which is actually a boiler and stores 19 to 20 gallons of hot water. After a couple days I shut down the Natural Gas Hot Water Heater and am currently using only this Ariston POU 19 Electric Hot Water heater as my only source for Hot Water. Works Great for 2 people. Due to the current Natural Gas Price increase and the not as aggressive Electricity Price increases this item appears to be a great bargain for hot water. Takes about one and half hours to install using copper and copper fitting and sweating the pipes and I installed one shark bite ball valve. Could be installed faster using all Shark Bite. For the wire I installed a 20 amp circuit breaker into the Main and installed a 20 amp extension cord that is under 25 feet. I will probably change the circuit to hot wire. Makes a Great Hot Shower.

Easy installation with clear instructions. I was able to install without hiring a plumber, which in effect, paid for this. Connections were the right size, well labeled, with options for a side or top installation. Equipped with a bottom clean out valve. Used about a month with no leakage and it's had great water temperature and so far so good!

I do wish that there was a temperature control as usually the temperature is not hot enough that I think it should be after you have ran the hot water for a little while walked away and come back then the water is definitely hotter, but I still have a pot Water in for my dishes and you definitely don’t need to add cold water to your shower. Hot water works fine. Fit perfectly under the counter of my RV and has plenty of water for all my RV needs
