I love how thick and rich the color is of this collar. If it’s very well on my standard poodle puppy, she is four months old. The clasp is very tight, I can have a little trouble getting it loose sometimes, but I would rather it be harder to get loose than it be falling off over and over again, and my dog getting away from me. There is a lot of room for adjusting, like I said my dog is a puppy she’ll probably be able to wear this collar for at least a year of her growing, she’s gonna get very big and she started all very small so right now the collar is as small as it gets and there is a lot of room for her neck growth! It’s also cute and stylish and great for pictures. I also use just the leash when I put her harness on her! Love that it works for both uses!

For the price... I am NEVER ordering another $100 walking set for my dog again!!! The fabric and quality of this leash and collar are beautiful! It looks so good on our English Cream Golden Retriever. If she ever pulls (which she does when she sees people) this holds up so well! It fit her great and even my parents bought one for their corgi! I will definitely be buying more!

(photos are from after approx 1 week and an attempt to clean) Ok... So here's the dilemma - this is/was a beautiful, soft collar and leash (still use the leash), BUT I'm very active with my little girl as often as possible, so her collars (naturally) get dirty. I looked up how to wash a velvet collar, nothing. I just went with recommendations on cleaning speciality collars. Soaked it in dog shampoo, gently rubbed it in an attempt to clean it and not only was it still a little dingy, but much is the softness, had apparently "rubbed"off. 🤷 I suppose my fault is not contacting the supplier, but why make a collar that requires special instructions to clean anyway? I can't be the only dog mom with a healthy dog activity life! When I first got this, it was soft, beautiful... Wow! Now... Let's just say the thrill is gone. I'm sad about it but I prefer none of my dog to look or be dingy. I'm just weird that way. If your dog stays at home mostly and you want her to look and feel beautiful - DEFINITELY for you! If it's gonna get dirty and you'll need to wash it... maybe not so much. Too bad. Like most short term relationships, started good... Ended sadly.

I bought the green, which is a soft mint green. This collar and leash set can’t be beat. I’ve purchased 4 sets from different vendors on Etsy and paid more than double this price on those, and this quality is very similar. They use shiny high quality metal hardware. By the way, shiny metal will show scratches and will oxidize when exposed to saltwater over time, but only I notice, and it looks better than plastic. The velvet-like material is for special occasions on my rough and tumble dog, although the fabric is web-backed (color matched) so it’s durable. It comes packaged like jewelry, so it’ll make a great gift!
