Bought these through Amazon Trial program. They were great right out of the box. I wore them for a day for two short stints to break them in and had no problems. I did get one small heel blister on the first day of full day use, (coulda been my sock) but its been smooth sailing since. They keep my feet DRY in heavy dew and irrigation work. I love how stable they are walking in tall grass and places I can't see the ground well! It makes all the difference in my low back, which is no longer hurting. And I love that they aren't super heavy. Great boots. Would recommend. UPDATE: Have worn all summer and into fall every day on the farm. One thing I absolutely LOVE about them is that they are non slip, but don't have deep lug soles so they don't drag a lot of farm soil/mud around into the truck, barn and house! The ball of my foot at the widest part is 3.75 in. For my shoe size, the standard width for a wide is like 4.08 in. There's no way these are wide my toes were so cramped.

These are perfect shoes. They look really nice, don’t wear down, and are FULLY WATER PROOF. (You can submerge your foot) They are easy to lace, and extremely high quality. They take a few wears to break in, but after that they fit very well and are comfortable to wear even when not hiking.

I work at a 30-horse equine therapy barn and these boots get me through my long days! After two days of breaking them in, these became my go-to. I'm looking forward to seeing how they hold up in the rainy & cold winter. **Update after 1.5 years of near-daily use** I've taken off one star because while I still do love the boots, I believe that for the price, they should hold up better. The soles are getting frayed, and the material isn't as water-resistant as I typically need. I use mink oil every 6 weeks and have begun treating them with Kiwi Camp Dry, which has helped. I put in a lot of steps daily, much of them over uneven/tough gravel, so I can't be too surprised that there is wear & tear on the soles. Overall, I don't regret the purchase, but will likely look at other options for my next work boot. ... show more

    • Great multipurpose boot that will keep your feet dry
Size: 7.5 Wide Color: Distressed Brown
Wore on my 6 day horseback trip in Iceland a few weeks ago. They broke in easily, didn't cause any issues, worked well for riding, and kept my feet dry! They were perfect for riding and hiking which meant one less pair of shoes to bring. I even hiked up the middle of a waterfall and my feet stayed perfectly dry. Temperatures got warm for Iceland (high 60s, low 70s) and my feet never got too hot. Given how well they did keeping my feet dry I was pleasantly surprised at how light they were and how cool my feet stayed. I'm typically a 7 but went with a 7.5, probably would have been fine either way once they broke in but I have no regrets sizing up a bit. Love that they come in a wide too! Very happy with this purchase and excited to use them in my day to day now that my trip is done. ... show more

I purchased this boot about a month ago and my lower body is super achey and my foot especially is in ALOT OF PAIN. Being a contractor my choice of boot is crucial. I’ve never ever in my life have experienced a boot that has caused me so much foot pain. I had to go and purchase DR. Scholl’s insoles and a cushion for my heel just to get through my work day. We shall see how that works and then go from there. I wouldn’t recommend this boot due to how UNCOMFORTABLE IT IS. Sorry ARIAT.
