Longest lasting boots I've owned

I'm on my feet, outdoors, walking miles through mud, wet grass, and dirt, almost every day, so comfortable, waterproof boots are a must. I also hike a lot off trail. I got my first pair of these at least two years ago, and they worked great, fit well, both with thin or thick socks on my feet, and for the price, outlasted pairs over $200. First point of failure was where the out sole started to separate from the body along the edges, but they were fine otherwise. Then some leather started to split open at flex points (which says something considering that I generally kept them oiled). Just got my second pair and they are just as comfortable as the first, right out of the box. Highly recommended.

Favorite work boots

My daily work boots. Fits really well. Had to break in because of the steel toe. Hurt for a bit and def have some calluses on the side of my big toes because of it. Very good work boots and not noticeably heavy.

Comfortable and durable

I get a $300 boot allowance from my workplace so I pretty much have a choice of whatever I want. I started out with Red Wing my first year and the soles started coming apart in about 4 months for a $280 pair. Disgusted, I decided to try a cheap option and was very surprised with the quality and durability of the Ariat brand. I was able to get two pair of the Treadfast boots thinking I would get about 6 months out of each, but my first pair lasted almost the whole year. The only real reason I finally got out the second pair is because I stepped in a puddle and water got in because the soles are pulling away from the bottom a little. I wear them 5 days a week for 8 to 9 hours (truck mechanic) and I just bought two more pairs since I know they will hold up.

I have a problem with my left foot so I have to be very picky about my boots because most shoes hurt my feet but these boots did not they were comfortable right out of the box I didn’t have to put insoles in until around the 4 month mark the boots have held up exceptionally well In a mechanic environment
