Love these boots I have had 4 pairs now in 8 years. On wear them for work (12-14hrs a day outside in the elements) love that they are waterproof in all wet weather including semi deep snow and keep your feet reasonably warm in the cold weather as well. Perfect for roadside assistance work!!!

Such great boots, I will never buy anything else from now on. 100% waterproof after months of wearing them. The soles are softer so they tend to chip at the edges but that is typical with the softer soles on other boots as well.

Got boots today. Tried them on and they are true to size. Fit perfect, like a glove. Wore them around today, to help stretch them out, but don't really think they need it. Real test will be tomorrow, when I return to work and wear them around the mill. Then all hell will break loose. After a full day of welding and fabrication, I'll be able to follow up with a true review and let you know how they held up. *Update* Been wearing the boots for a couple of weeks now. On concrete floors and uneven outside surfaces are just a few things I encounter. I must say, these boots not only didn't needed a break in period, but the comfort all thru the day, and not having sore feet by the end is incredible. For the first week or two it took a bit of force to get my foot into this boot, but after getting it in the boot fit nice and doesnt take much effort to slip on, with plenty of room for my toes, which is hard to find with some shoes. The waterproof works great so far as i use a hose on them daily for cleaning. They are not too heavy and i have had no issues so far for my feet hurting which was really bad on some previous shoes. When it comes to boots I like to wait a few weeks, or hopefully months, before I review them. I work on my feet 12-16 hours or more 365 days a year in all kinds of conditions in a heavy industrial and construction job, so I’m tough on boots. If I get a year I’m lucky, but several pairs of Ariat ropers and lace ups have made the cut. I was eager to try them because they are so light and looked well built. They were my favorite pair of boots, until last week when they started leaking. If I didn’t need waterproof boots I’d probably just keep on wearing them. But when you pay for waterproof boots you do expect them to make it more than 60 days. These didn’t even get that far. I’m beyond the 30 day return window, so I’ll be contacting Ariat. I will update this review with whatever the resolution ends up being. ... show more
