My husband is on his feet 8-16 hours a day. He was always complaining about his feet hurting at the end of the day. That all stopped after I bought him these boots. He originally wanted these for the look/style. He’s had other Ariat boots in the past and always liked them. These boots were like no others. They have a thick memory insole. They are water proof to just above the ankle. The carbon toe is preferred to a steel toe. The rubber styled outer toe coverage makes them look nicer for longer, as that is the area that normally gets all tore up first. I don’t think my husband will ever want another work boot for work. He usually wears an 11 in work boots. Which is what I bought. He probably could have worn a 10.5 in this particular boot. Keep that in mind when purchasing. 10 out of 10 highly recommend. I run Fire Pumps doing test where you have to discharge 500-2000 Gallons per Minute of water out into open fields or parking lots wherever a Pump house may be located. They hold up really good. They’re comfortable. I love the boots! Every review I read was true. I have plantar fasciitis (flat feet), and with these boots I'm able to stand and walk around all day with no pain or fatigue. My back doesn't even hurt like it does with other boots even with inserts. The only thing I will advise is to listen to others when they say these boots should be ordered a half size under what you would normally wear. I USUALLY wear a 11.5 EE. I should've ordered a size 11 EE. Other than that I'll most definitely be ordering these again once these need replaced. Highly recommend them. ... show more

These boots are excellent I’ve had them for over 18 months, I work in different elements outside no sign of excessive wear. I would recommend to replace the foot cushion every 6 months, ariat has the best work boots currently in my opinion

My fiance bought these for work and loves them. They are very breathable. He did add his own insoles for his personal pressure needs but these are high quality, very well made work boots. Definitely go with these if you're debating on another brand.
