Exactly what was expected, second pair of the same boot. First pair lasted a little over two years, had the heals replaced and waterproofed again. Needed to replace due to the first pair sides where coming undone and the soles where really worn down. A very comfortable boot that lasted a lot longer than expected. I got these to use in Haiti and I have punished them already. They have held up to everything I have been able to throw at them so far. They run a little big but are beyond comfortable and work as hard as I do.

They changed something or these are factory rejects. The “u-turn” for the foot doesn’t work at all it is beyond infuriating. I hate these boots thought it would improve as they broke in it’s gotten worse.

I recently purchased the Ariat Men's Workhog Pull-on H2O boot as a replacement for my winter boots. Amazon was having a deal of the day sale and the price was right so I put in the order. Most of the reviews instruct to purchase a half to a full shoe size smaller than your regular shoe size, but they didn't have any 10 or 10.5, so I just ordered my regular 11. When they arrived, I tried them on and my first impression was that they felt a little large, but after wearing them around for a day, the fit seemed just perfect. They are a really comfortable boot and I have them to work on a couple occasions. I work at a major brokerage firm and when casual Friday's roll around, I reach for these in place of my tennis shoes as I think the leather is a bit classier than my sneakers and they are crazy comfortable! ... show more

These boots are great. I've been wearing them almost every day since they arrived. They are comfortable and I still can't believe how easy they are to get on and off thanks to their U-turn system. They are everything the web pages says they are. You will love them too!!!!

This is the fourth pair of Ariat's that I own. The others are cowboy boots and not used to work in construction sites. I live in Texas and wear these boots to oil rigs and around oilfield construction sites. I find them to be very comfortable and true to size of my other boots. The sole is designed for climbing ladders and is a good walking sole. The upper is easy to put your foot into and is just the right height. I enjoy the composite toe because it does not feel heavy or get really cold in winter. To bring it back to a good look use saddle soap and then apply more boot oil. I have read other reviews and do not agree with the statements that they do not last over 6 months in constant use. Any boot requires some amount of care to last. Great product. ... show more

Good boots, good fit, but...the trim or piping that is sewn in at the top of the boot is painful. It has a very rough edge in the interior that rubs constantly on my calves. After one day of wear, chafing. After two days, bleeding. And nobody needs calluses on their calves. I have to wear boot socks to protect my calves and boot socks don't always stay up. Have been hoping that after several weeks rubbing against the boot socks the trim would smooth out some...it has not. It would seem the hardest part would be to engineer a comfortable insole, which it is, too bad the poor design of the simple trim part makes wearing them painful. Very disappointing. ... show more

He said these boots are perfect. They don’t cause discomfort like most boots after working in there for eight plus hours a day and are great for men who can’t stand a steel toe as well.
