I recently purchased the Ariat Men's Workhog Pull-on H2O boot as a replacement for my winter boots. Amazon was having a deal of the day sale and the price was right so I put in the order. Most of the reviews instruct to purchase a half to a full shoe size smaller than your regular shoe size, but they didn't have any 10 or 10.5, so I just ordered my regular 11. When they arrived, I tried them on and my first impression was that they felt a little large, but after wearing them around for a day, the fit seemed just perfect. They are a really comfortable boot and I have them to work on a couple occasions. I work at a major brokerage firm and when casual Friday's roll around, I reach for these in place of my tennis shoes as I think the leather is a bit classier than my sneakers and they are crazy comfortable! ... show more

They were a little narrow but new boots tend to fit snugly and need to be broken in to conform to your foot. I wear these for work so from about 14+ hours per day. My feet do tend to get a little tired but it's probably just from being on my feet that long although my old boots didn't seem to bother me so it could be I'm still breaking these in? Update: I used a shoe stretcher and can definitively say these boots run a little narrow based on my experience with other boots (i.e. wolverine, Red Wing & Rocky). This is my second pair of Ariats and there's no question they make a good quality boot...just a little on the narrow side. ... show more

This is the fourth pair of Ariat's that I own. The others are cowboy boots and not used to work in construction sites. I live in Texas and wear these boots to oil rigs and around oilfield construction sites. I find them to be very comfortable and true to size of my other boots. The sole is designed for climbing ladders and is a good walking sole. The upper is easy to put your foot into and is just the right height. I enjoy the composite toe because it does not feel heavy or get really cold in winter. To bring it back to a good look use saddle soap and then apply more boot oil. I have read other reviews and do not agree with the statements that they do not last over 6 months in constant use. Any boot requires some amount of care to last. Great product. ... show more

Exactly what was expected, second pair of the same boot. First pair lasted a little over two years, had the heals replaced and waterproofed again. Needed to replace due to the first pair sides where coming undone and the soles where really worn down. A very comfortable boot that lasted a lot longer than expected. Would highly recommend these boots for anyone looking for a slip resistance and waterproof work boot. ... show more

They changed something or these are factory rejects. The “u-turn” for the foot doesn’t work at all it is beyond infuriating. I hate these boots thought it would improve as they broke in it’s gotten worse.
