I've had 5 pair of these in the past 9 years. Some from amazon and some locally. They are true to their size. The quality has been consistent. But the price keeps going up. I'll probably try thoroughgood next time. I've I'm paying this much, I'll get American made boots.

These are the only Work boots my husband likes wearing. There comfortable and hold up very well. He does construction so he’s hard on them

    • Third pair of these boots - GREAT

My husband has tried SO MANY many work boots but with a wide foot and the fact that he wears them ALL DAY doing everything, he just cannot find another boot that fits and lasts like these boots. This is his third pair and although they last him about a year - year and a half and seem kind of expensive for a shoe that only last that long, I can tell you - he wears the holy cr*p out of them and does not end the day with complaints about his feet or back or standing like he does when he tries out any of the other dozen work boots I try to get him to wear. I give those other boots away like candy at Halloween to anyone who comes by our house that even remotely looks like his size because I can't stand the whining and moaning when he wears any other boots. So, long story short... I have learned my lesson. He gets a new pair of these boots every Christmas... boom-done, no thought required and he is a happy camper and I don't have to hunt for undies in his ever-expanding size. ... show more

    • Right/ more narrow than expected and UNCOMFORTABLE

My husband purchased these hoping that they would be comfortable like his previous pair from ARIAT. He assured the fit would be the same too, because it’s the same brand…. But it wasn’t. My husband does not have wide feet by any stretch, but he complained that the boots felt tight on the sides of his feet. And hurt. He hates them. Said they feel like dress shoes… plus, he had to work in snow the other day and warns that these are NOT the boots to get if you’re working in icy or snow environments… What he does is very strenuous work on his boots, and already he has produced some wear into the boots, like first day. So, we don’t recommend. Wish they didn’t stop producing the previous composit power lines he had before. He says they were the most comfortable boots he had ever owned from day one. We actually wasted $200 on these, and now had to buy another pair that hopefully will be more comfortable. Maybe pull on workhogs will work.. here goes another $200. Hoping they are worth it because these were such a waste. I’d give them no stars if I could. ... show more
