I am a landscaper by trade. I walk allot, dig a lot, and run bobcats, excavator etc. I've tried Merrill, Keen,Wolvarine and some store brands. 4-5 months and I've got seems splitting, soles separating , or eyelets torn out. I tried on these boots in a tractor supply, then ordered online for a $20 price savings. That was 9 months ago. I'm sold on these. My only complaint, that may not be a complaint for everyone, would be a little better cushioned insole. I prefer extra cushion. ... show more

These are wonderful boots my husband has had a pair for a year and a half wearing them daily with no issues so I was buying him a new pair for his birthday and what I received was a pair of used dirty boots with worn down heels thrown in an Ariat box in so so condition with no tissue paper. Clearly someone kept the new pair & put the old pair in the box and returned them. You don't check your returns & then you send them out as new to someone else! How could any company send a client something like that disgraceful!!! I returned them. ... show more

Boots are worth about $70-$75 they are made with a thin sole with little support and the "leather" uppers twist and deform whenever exposed to water. Lace is decent enough. I do NOT recommend these boots unless the price is lower and at that point there are many other competitors that make a boot of the same quality. Shop around or spend about $175 to get a much better pair. ... show more
