I usually wear a size 11 in Ariat boots, these run big I would go a half size down. Also the description says waterproof, they are not. I returned these and went to lebos to get a different size and they actually say waterproof on them.

The break in process was quick, the insoles are thicker that Dr Scholls inserts I bought so I'm still using them. I work around cement dust and water and they have held up well so far. I would order another pair without hesitation

For the price point, you get what you pay for. I own other Ariat work boots. This pair is not up to the standard of those boots. These fit wider than a D size. And the toe area feels wide open. Its like the boot was designed to have a Steele or carbon toe insert but they left it out and didn't remove the extra spacing in the toe area. Leaving way too much toe room. I have to pull the laces up to where the eyelets are almost squeeze together. These boots feel like the width is definitely off or miss marked. Furthermore, the inset padding is basic and sole of the boot is too flexible. When I put my foot on the center stand of my motorcycle to raise it on the stand, I can feel that sole doesn't have the strength to support my body weight. I can feel the stand pushing up, flexing through the sole of the boot. Compared to my other 3 Ariat work boots. This pair is not the same Ariat quality I'm familiar with. At a pice point below 100 bucks, i really shouldn't be surprised. ... show more
