My daily work boots. Fits really well. Had to break in because of the steel toe. Hurt for a bit and def have some calluses on the side of my big toes because of it. Very good work boots and not noticeably heavy.

I'm on my feet, outdoors, walking miles through mud, wet grass, and dirt, almost every day, so comfortable, waterproof boots are a must. I also hike a lot off trail. I got my first pair of these at least two years ago, and they worked great, fit well, both with thin or thick socks on my feet, and for the price, outlasted pairs over $200. First point of failure was where the out sole started to separate from the body along the edges, but they were fine otherwise. Then some leather started to split open at flex points (which says something considering that I generally kept them oiled). I work construction and I'm in boots a minimum of 10 hours a day. This is my first pair of lined boots. I hate insulated boots. And have never liked the gortex boots. As a rule I have always worn unlined full leather boots. I have owned Red Wings, Danners, Thorogoods, and even a pair of White's. I have resisted lined boots for decades because I cannot stand when my feet get hot. I had a boot emergency and went to tractor supply and grabbed a pair of Ariats cowboy boots because that was all that was available. The lasted oddly long and are still going minus the heal wear from the way I walk. I prefer lace up boots and the majority of companies only offer lined boots and for $120 I figured I'd give them a shot. Yes they're still hot, but they are comfortable and required minimal break in. Holding up pretty well in concrete and pretty easy to drive a tractor trailer in. Would have gone with the taller style, these are basically leather high tops. ... show more

runs small...we got a size 12 as that is what we normally wear, and it was tight and they felt like ballerina shoes. got a bigger size but they wouldn't let us exchange them which was annoying. we had to do a full return which wasn't a big deal, but it was definitely annoying. Definitely like ariat brand and i like the price which is why I am not giving a 1/5 stars, but I definitely recommend getting a bigger size. ... show more

The boots are nice, high quality build for sure but the steel toe just is very uncomfortable to walk around in. Especially up and down hills, Ive genuinely hurt my toes navigating little jobsite hills with these on. They are slip resistant, a little heavy, waterproof, and durable, just not as comfortable as I would have hoped. ... show more
