These boots are really amazing for work while offshore when dealing with multiple weather changes in a matter of hours. Boots do seem to run slightly large for the indicated size. Great build over all, the BOA laces are truly awesome for some one who is in and out on constant basis from indoors to outdoors. Fit and quality are what you would would expect from Ariat. Sadly, in my case though the ankle support with the BOA lace system is just not up to par for my needs. These are a great middle ground between pull on western style boots and lace-up boots in terms of support and ease of taking on and off. I absolutely love these boots! Felt great new out of the box, not much of a break in period. The BOA features are awesome! Size indicates it is 8 wide, but feels like 8 M…. Not comfortable when wearing on 8 hours shift. Lock can easily come loose and has to adjust. I recommend not a good buy.

I’ve had these boots 3-1/2 months and they are no longer water proof and the boa cable system is pulling through the leather They did well in the snow when I first got them but they are a lot of money for a boot that’s not holding up. I work with equipment in and out of holes so I need a boot that can hold up and shovel all winter so I need water proof they were also warm in the little bit of winter I used them ... show more
