With Shock Shield technology, it diffuses heel impact while absorbing shock and helps minimize fatigue so you can stay on your feet longer. Built for extreme durability, this boot features an oil- and slip-resistant Duratread sole that passes the hot contact test up to 300°C /572°F , making it ideal for harsh outdoor jobs, high-heat environments, and intense construction work. ATS technology provides ergonomic support on uneven terrain, while the removable Energy Max anti-fatigue insole offers maximum cushioning. With resolable Goodyear welt construction, a steel toe for safety, and a patriotic design, this men’s work boot delivers the perfect balance of protection, durability, and comfort. It meets ASTM F2413 and ASTM F3445 standards for safety toe footwear, electrical hazard resistance, and slip resistance.

Solid boots. My son ordered these for working at his first job. Ordered his normal size and it fit with no issues. Ariat is known for making good boots that have great traction and wearability. Boots are great for how they are meant to function. Pricey, but worth it.

These are excellent boots for those looking for good, steel toed boots. I work in a warehouse environment and the soles are great for a smooth concrete or slippery surfaces. I had a pair of Thorogood boots with their "anti-slip sole" and these are hands down better on slick surfaces. My only issue was during the initial break-in period. While the boot is soft enough and well conditioned right out of the box, I did get a blister on my right ankle after the first day of wearing them. This is just a small matter, part of wearing leather boots with no lining. After wearing them regularly, they are now very comfortable to wear all day. ... show more

I used these boots for 5 months in construction work, and after 5 months the sole had already come off which was no longer a waterproof, and very poor quality leather
